Keldreca Thomas
I’m Keldreca Thomas, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of RivaWell. I help high-achieving, purpose-driven adults navigate anxiety, burnout, and major life transitions through a whole-person approach to mental health care. My work blends evidence-based psychiatric treatment with mind-body strategies and root-cause exploration, helping clients move beyond symptom management and toward lasting stability and clarity. I take time to understand your full story, including lifestyle stressors, emotional patterns, and nervous system health, so care feels personalized rather than rushed.
Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, I work with clients to understand the emotional, physical, and lifestyle factors that contribute to their symptoms.
My goal is to help you feel grounded, clear, and supported as you regain balance, rebuild confidence, and move forward with intention.
First session
Your first session is a safe and supportive space to explore what you are experiencing, whether that includes anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm or a major life transition. We will review your symptoms, relevant history, and goals to gain a clear understanding of what may be contributing to your concerns. Depending on the service selected, recommendations may include lab work, medication options, and or mind-body strategies. You will leave the session with clarity and a personalized plan designed to support your mental and emotional well-being. Please note I do not prescribe controlled substances, including stimulant medications such as Adderall or Ritalin, or benzodiazepines such as Xanax, Klonopin or Ativan.
Strengths
What distinguishes my approach is the integration of evidence-based psychiatric care with a whole-person perspective. Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, I work with clients to understand the emotional, physical, and lifestyle factors that contribute to their symptoms. My approach incorporates clinical assessment, nervous system regulation, and practical mind-body strategies to support meaningful and sustainable improvement. The goal is lasting change that improves daily functioning and overall well-being.
Ideal clients
I work with high-achieving women and purpose-driven professionals who are navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, or identity-related stress. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed or stuck, even when things appear stable on the outside. My approach focuses on understanding the underlying contributors to symptoms to support meaningful, lasting change. I offer basic psychiatric evaluations with insurance accepted for diagnosis and medication management, as well as private-pay integrative psychiatry and coaching services. Care is individualized and may include medication when appropriate, nervous system support, and practical mind-body strategies. My goal is to help clients feel regulated, clear, and supported as they move forward with greater stability and confidence. Why Root-Cause Healing Matters: Most symptoms are signals—anxiety, depression, or fatigue often reflect emotional, spiritual, or energetic blocks. When we uncover the root, we can stop recycling the same pain and finally create lasting change from the inside out.
Treatment methods
Mind-body approach
I use a mind-body approach to help clients understand how emotional patterns, trauma, and stress manifest physically. My own healing journey showed me the limits of traditional treatment, so I integrate both clinical and holistic tools. In sessions, I combine: Psychoeducation on the mind-body-spirit connection Nervous system regulation techniques (like breathwork and somatic awareness) Lifestyle and root-cause assessments Medication support when needed This approach allows clients to feel more connected, regulated, and empowered—not just symptom-free, but truly well.
