I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) serving individuals in Pennsylvania. I have a master degree in social work. I have worked with individuals from age 17 to 65 years old specializing in addiction and mental health treatment. I have 8 years experience working with individuals on all levels of care. I aim to provide individualized trauma informed care to those seeking help to overcome individual barriers.
In our first session together, I like to provide time for simple question and answer where we can begin to build rapport and explore what therapy will be like and whether it is a good fit. The success of therapy is reliant on a healthy therapeutic relationship between client and therapist.
Having worked in various areas of the field, I have a multitude of experience and tailor to the needs of treatment planning on an individual basis. I lean heavily on working toward treating the whole person and not just the symptom and addressing problems at their core. I believe everyone is unique and strive to support clients on their own personal journey.
As your therapist, I will validate your feelings and encourage you to work toward your goals by identifying personal strengths and minimizing negative thinking habits. I utilize CBT strategies by helping you to re-frame your perspective on difficult situations, help you to set healthy boundaries and put yourself first. I find most clients don’t feel they deserve to lead happy, healthy lives. Please join me as we embark on this new journey together and learn to love life again.
