My name is Najla Hosseinpur, Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving the Bay Area and Central Valley communities. My thriving interest is helping people reach their health and healing milestones. Navigating the world as an immigrant woman of color provides me with insight of a wide range of life experiences such as difficulty with generational traumas, family dysfunction, relationship challenges, inequalities, as well as managing cultural and societal pressures. I use a holistic approach that tends to each individual’s needs interweaving life experiences and theoretical practices. My mission is to support everyday people to tell their story, understand themselves, and make a difference in their lives. I’d be glad to hear from you to see if we’re a good match…

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I like to really get to know my clients and help them explore their goals in therapy. Sometimes these goals change and sometimes other things can come up as we explore. I want to help individuals with any issue or problem that they may have in their life at any particular time, big or small. I can listen to the needs of my clients and customize a treatment plan that best suits their needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

my greatest strength would be my versatility. I have worked in the mental health field for the past 15 years. My experience helps to not only sympathize but empathize with my clients. I'm able to pull from various frameworks and utilize different domains of therapy practice to help my clients holistically.
