I specialized in Traumatic Brain Injury for the first six years and then for the past 20 years, I have specialized in the mental health field. VirtualMy treatment methods
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
Growing up in a culturally diverse neighborhood has assisted me in being sensitive to all the cultures that come through my office. I understand and I can work with all individuals who have been assigned to me.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Utilizing emotionally focused therapy with clients who are facing issues identifying what their emotions are and how to help them deal with them. Utilizing individuals' body language has assisted me in identifying their emotions.
Grief Therapy
Working with individuals experiencing all types of grief for the past 26 years has enabled me to recognize and assist these individuals to move forward in their lives. I empathize that grief does not go away. The individual learns to move forward with their lives.
Humanistic
This treatment method has worked well in my practice, and the clients feel that I am there for them. I listen empathetically and I can guide them on the right path for their lives.
Multicultural
working in a diverse culture has enabled me to learn how to be there for each client no matter their ethnicity.
