Hello/Hola! I am a licensed clinical social worker and clinical qualified supervisor in Florida with 10+ years of work experience in the field. As a therapist, my approach is grounded in authenticity, genuine care, and a deep commitment to fostering resilience. I believe in the strength and capacity within each individual to heal, grow, and navigate life’s challenges. My role is to provide a compassionate and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, reconnect with your inner strengths, and build the tools you need to thrive.
In my practice I provide a safe and trusting space to fully express yourself. Individuals who work with me appreciate her authentic, caring, and down-to-earth approach. I value the intersectionality in diversity and your therapeutic experience.
In my experience as a therapist I have gained great knowledge from all my training, supervision, career paths, and mostly from my clients. I practice and use the value of learning from each other. I still and hope to continue to grow as my clients grow. We learn and grow more when we meet each other as humans.
I have a diverse background in mental health, having worked in community mental health settings, with homeless populations, in college counseling, higher levels of care, psychiatric hospitals, and private practice. Additionally, I have experience teaching clinical courses at the college and graduate levels, as well as supervising early-career therapists. My primary expertise lies in supporting individuals with chronic mental health challenges and personality disorders (BPD and NPD). I also offer bilingual services in Spanish and English and have specialized experience working with diverse populations, including the Latinx community, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those navigating gender-related concerns.
From a dialectical behavioral lens clients can learn how their emotional health functions, how to regulate it, tolerate distress, practice mindfulness and even aid their interpersonal relationships.
From a psychodynamic lens clients can learn to connect the dots, become more aware of their maladaptive patterns of behaviors, habits, relational struggles, and finally learn to break them.
