New to Grow
Men often struggle with unique issues and experience anxiety, depression, and other challenges that can make life feel overwhelming. Day-to-day life can feel impossible and hopeless. If you are struggling with these issues, I am here to help. I want to offer you a respite from the suffering and a partnership to help you move forward towards your goals. I believe that every individual’s journey is unique. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Learning how to be a compassionate and objective guide for others has become my life’s work.
Your first session is really about getting a clear picture of where you are, what's been going on, and what you'd like to get out of therapy. It's also a chance for us to see if we're a good fit to work together. I'll ask questions about what's bringing you in, your background, and the challenges you're facing, but this isn't an interrogation. It's a conversation. You can ask me questions at any point, and we'll work together to understand what's getting in your way and where you'd like to make progress. Some people come to therapy with clear goals—like managing anxiety, improving relationships, handling stress, or building confidence. Others just know that something isn't working and want things to be different. Both are completely normal. If you're not sure what your goals are yet, we'll figure them out together. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to you. Whether you're looking for tools to handle day-to-day challenges, a space to process what's been weighing on you, or long-term personal growth, we'll create a plan that makes sense for your life. By the end of our first session, you should have a better understanding of what we're working toward, how I can help, and what the next steps will look like.
I bring a combination of professional training, clinical experience, and lived experience to the therapeutic relationship. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and genuine curiosity about each person's unique story. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and free to explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges without fear of judgment. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to build strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, openness, and collaboration. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel heard and understood, and I work to foster an environment where honest communication can develop naturally. Whether you are facing mental health challenges, navigating recovery, or working through a difficult life transition, my goal is to meet you where you are and support you in identifying a path forward that aligns with your values and goals. I understand that change is rarely linear and that healing often requires patience, courage, and self-compassion. This perspective allows me to approach each client with humility, understanding, and respect for the effort it takes to pursue lasting change. Clients often appreciate my ability to balance compassion with honest feedback, creating a supportive environment that encourages both self-acceptance and personal growth. Together, we will work to identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and develop practical strategies that support your overall well-being and long-term success.
