Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy at your own pace. I’ll ask some questions about your current concerns, history, and what you hope to get out of therapy, but there’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready. We’ll also talk about what has or hasn’t been helpful for you in the past, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to create a grounded, emotionally safe space where clients feel seen, understood, and not rushed. I bring a warm, relational approach that helps clients explore both present day challenges and deep patterns that may be shaping their experiences. What stands out about my approach is that I integrate insight oriented work with practical tools, so clients not only understand themselves more deeply but also leave with strategies they can use in real life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best position to serve adult clients and teenagers who are seeking to understand themselves more deeply, improve emotional regulation, and heal from relational and attachment related wounds. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, low self esteem, burnout, or patterns in relationships that feel repetitive or unfulfilling. A significant portion of my work focuses on individuals impacted by family dynamics, particularly complicated or emotionally challenging relationships with mothers or primary caregivers.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that may contribute to anxiety, depression, low self esteem, relationship difficulties, and emotional distress. In practice, I help clients increase awareness of the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing healthier coping strategies and more balanced ways of thinking.

Strength-Based

I use strength based approach to help clients recognize and build upon the resilience, abilities, and personal strengths they already possess, even during difficult seasons of life. In practice, I support clients in developing greater self awareness, confidence, and self compassion while empowering them to make meaningful changes aligned with their values and goals.

Trauma Informed Care

I implement trauma informed care by creating a therapeutic environment that prioritizes emotional safety, trust, collaboration, and empowerment. I recognize that past traumatic experiences can impact the way individuals think, feel, relate to others, and respond to stress, and I approach each client with sensitivity to how those experiences may influence their current functioning and relationships. In practice, I work at a pace that feels safe and supportive for the client while helping them develop coping skills, emotional awareness, grounding techniques, and healthier ways of managing distress.
