PMHNP, 9 years of experience
You’ve done everything you can to help your child—but you're tired of long waitlists, trial-and-error medications, and not knowing what's really behind their struggles. Whether your child is dealing with anxiety, depression, or ADHD, you want more than a quick fix. You want someone who will listen, make sense of the symptoms, and offer a thoughtful, personalized plan. I understand how overwhelming this journey can feel. That’s why I take a whole-child, integrative approach—combining therapy, lifestyle support, and medication only when truly necessary. As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with advanced training in integrative care, I bring both clinical expertise and a deep respect for your values as a parent. We’ll work together to uncover root causes, strengthen your child’s resilience, and create a plan that supports their emotional and behavioral growth. With flexible scheduling and virtual options, expert care is always within reach. Let’s take the next step together. Book a consultation today—and give your child the support they need to thrive.
The first visit is all about getting to know your child—and your family—so we can build a strong foundation for personalized, effective care. I’ll take time to review your child’s history, current concerns, and any previous evaluations or treatments. We’ll talk about what’s been working, what hasn’t, and what your goals are moving forward. I’ll also ask about sleep, diet, activity levels, school experiences, family dynamics, and other lifestyle factors that can impact mental health. Depending on your child’s age and comfort level, I may speak with them alone for part of the appointment or involve them in a more play-based way. Parents are also given dedicated one-on-one time with me to share concerns they prefer not to discuss in front of their child. This helps ensure we’re addressing the full picture—while still protecting your child’s emotional safety. This is a judgment-free space where your child can feel safe and supported—and where you can openly share your concerns. By the end of the visit, I’ll offer my initial impressions, discuss next steps, and explain any recommendations for testing, therapy, supplements, or medication (if appropriate). Together, we’ll develop a care plan that honors your child’s unique needs.
I’m passionate about helping kids address their mental health symptoms early—so they can grow into confident, resilient adults. My approach is integrative, meaning I look at the whole child—mind and body—when creating a treatment plan. This includes supporting brain health through proper nutrition (via diet or targeted supplementation), recommending sustainable lifestyle changes, and collaborating closely with family physicians and therapists to ensure comprehensive, connected care. I believe that lasting change happens when we treat the root causes, not just the symptoms. Families often share that they appreciate the time I take to truly listen and understand their concerns. I work collaboratively to create personalized care plans—never rushing appointments, but instead building a relationship grounded in trust, empathy, and respect.
I’m especially well-suited to support children, adolescents, and young adults who are navigating challenges related to anxiety, ADHD, depression, and autism. I also work closely with families who are seeking a provider that looks beyond symptoms to understand the whole child—body, brain, and environment. Many of the families I serve are looking for more than a quick fix. They’re open to exploring options beyond just medication and are interested in integrative care that may include nutritional support, lifestyle changes, and collaboration with other providers like therapists or pediatricians. My approach is family-centered, meaning I actively partner with parents and caregivers throughout the treatment process. I believe healing happens most effectively when everyone involved feels supported and informed. Whether your child is just beginning to struggle or has been in treatment before without lasting results, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan rooted in both compassion and evidence-based care.
I practice integrative psychiatry, which means I look beyond symptoms to explore the root causes of your child’s emotional and behavioral health challenges. This approach may include in-depth laboratory testing to identify physiological imbalances—such as nutritional deficiencies, hormonal issues, or inflammation—that could be contributing to their symptoms. Based on these findings, I develop a personalized treatment plan that may include nutraceuticals (targeted supplements), dietary and lifestyle changes, and prescription medications when appropriate. My goal is to support the whole child—mind and body—for more sustainable healing. Because insurance companies often do not cover integrative services, this portion of care is offered on a cash-pay basis.
