My name is Chrishina J. Scott. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Georgia and Arizona, with over 15 years of experience in the field of clinical mental health. My scope of practice focuses on helping adults who are finding challenges with overcoming specific life changes/adjustments (i.e., break-up/divorce, empty nester, work-related stress, retirement, grief (≤ 1 year), young adults transitioning into independent decision-making, etc.). As a result, the individual may be experiencing stress-related or situational anxiety and/or possibly a bit of a low mood (without the need for crisis intervention, or the inclusion of suicidal thoughts or self-harming behaviors). My goal is to help you connect with the current version of yourself; for you to establish realistic expectations and apply responses to stress that align with your values. ** Please Note: I do not specialize in trauma, ADD, addiction, suicidal thoughts/attempts, self-harming behaviors or crisis services.
During the first session, we will discuss what’s brought you into therapy, discuss your goals for therapy and how I may be able to support you in reaching your goals.
I pride myself in successfully helping clients establish thought processes based on their values. With an appropriate level of readiness, clients begin to apply value-based thinking to in order to implement value-based decision making; rewarding themselves with an unapologetic approach to getting their most inner needs met!
