"My greatest strength is cultivating an atmosphere of deep safety, authenticity, and genuine connection where clients feel fully seen, understood, and unjudged. Clinically, I integrate evidence-based frameworks—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy—with specialized Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to process deep-seated trauma at its root. Furthermore, my specialized training as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) candidate enables me to apply a rigorous, systematic framework to unravel complex behavioral patterns and addiction, offering clients both an empathetic space and a clear, structured roadmap for sustainable recovery."
The primary goal of the first session is to establish a strong foundation of safety, clarity, and trust. Beyond reviewing intake documentation to ensure the client fully understands practice policies and consent forms, this initial meeting focuses on gathering a comprehensive personal history and conducting a thorough symptom assessment. Rather than diving immediately into heavy emotional processing, session one is about mapping out where the client has been, what they are currently experiencing, and where they want to go. By the end, the client should leave with a clear understanding of their paperwork, feeling genuinely heard, and confident in a tailored plan forward.
My greatest strength is creating a safe, highly relatable environment where clients feel truly seen and understood. Professionally, I blend evidence-based frameworks—like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy( CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) , and Solution-Focused Therapy—with specialized tools like EMDR for deep trauma processing. Additionally, my training as a CSAT candidate allows me to bring a structured, systematic approach to complex behavioral patterns, ensuring clients have both a safe space and a clear, actionable roadmap for healing.
I specialize in helping clients with sex or pornography addictions. I utilize many approaches including CBT, DBT, and EMDR to help clients. I am trained by IITAP and am completing the requirements to become a CSAT. I strive to help clients learn emotional regulation and the skills necessary to end the problematic behaviors addiction causes. This will help them to live a life of freedom from addiction.
I have been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) my entire career. I use CBT to help clients identify there automatic negative thoughts and help change those thoughts into more helpful thoughts. As we change these thoughts it will help client feel better about themself and help them improve there problematic behaviors
I have been using the skills taught in DBT my whole career. I use these skills to help client increase there emotional tolerance and coping skills.
I use EMDR to help client process and reduce the impact of past traumatic experiences.
