Hi there, I'm Stephanie! Hello, and thank you for taking the time to look at my bio. I am Stephanie Turner-Johnson, a licensed Marriage and Family therapist. I have experience throughout the spectrum of the field, but specializing in adults with change of life, relationship, depression, and anxiety issues. My primary approach to therapy is humanistic, which focuses on the whole person. It also works well with my CBT problem-solving techniques allowing me to get to know you better but also allowing me to help guide you through the problems you may be facing. My communication style is honest, transparent, and caring when speaking with my client, which sometimes means telling them things they may not want to hear. However, I am often told that I am warm and gentle in my approach. At this moment, I only see adult individual therapy and not couple, family, or children therapy.
In the first session, I will be gathering important information to allow me to complete the intake assessment. It is also the perfect time for clients to provide the big picture about themselves and why they seek therapy. Through our therapy journey, we will seek for new insights and understanding about your own worldview.
