To overcome a disability that occurred in 1999 and severely damaged my spinal cord, I began to build a stronger relationship with God. Although I was bound to a wheelchair, this relationship did not bind me to depression and anger and gave me what I needed to live through my daily struggles. In turn, I felt encouraged to gain medical and spiritual knowledge to help others achieve this same triumph. Through years of practice and sharing testimony, I have been able to touch many and be changed in the same way through each experience. I not only aim to help people put their pieces together, but look to be touched as well by their stories and refine my own pieces as well. Faith-building exercises such as gratitude, encouragement, self-love, and confidence building are rooted in my practice for a happier and healthier you. The spiritual exercises that have helped me during my process were prayer, meditation, reading scriptures, and discussing my concerns with God-fearing counselors.
