I am an adult psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and have been practicing for 15 years. I treat primarily depression, anxiety, ADHD, adjustment disorders, and substance abuse disorders with a blend of medication management and counseling. I AM ONLY TREATING PATIENTS WHO RESIDE IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS. I have experience with developmental disabilities, bipolar and psychosis, but those disorders are best treated in person versus a virtual platform. My first priority in treatment is you; I believe that a combination of therapy and medication management will produce the best outcomes. Holistic healthcare is important; we will discuss sleep hygiene, exercise, and healthy eating. I want to get to know you. What are your goals? How do you manage stress? During our first appointment, I will ask a lot of questions. I need to understand your expectations and will explore any physical health issues you may have.
