Hello, and welcome. I am a compassionate and collaborative therapist dedicated to helping adolescents, adults, and couples navigate life's challenges and create meaningful change. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, stress, self-esteem issues, and life transitions, and I strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. My practice is grounded in evidence-based and culturally responsive approaches that honor each client's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside clients to increase self-awareness, develop effective coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and foster emotional well-being. As I continue pursuing my doctoral degree in counseling, I remain committed to ongoing learning and providing high-quality care that supports lasting growth and healing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where we begin getting to know one another. This initial meeting is an opportunity for you to share what has brought you to therapy, discuss any concerns or challenges you are currently facing, and talk about what you hope to achieve through the counseling process. I will ask questions about your personal history, relationships, strengths, and current circumstances to gain a better understanding of your experiences and needs. You are encouraged to share at your own pace, and there is no pressure to discuss anything before you feel ready. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and respected. Together, we will explore your goals for therapy and identify areas that you would like to focus on moving forward. I will also explain my therapeutic approach, answer any questions you may have about the counseling process, and discuss how we can work collaboratively to support your growth and well-being. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of what therapy may look like, an opportunity to reflect on your goals, and a plan for the next steps in our work together. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, grief, or personal growth, my aim is to help you feel supported, empowered, and hopeful as you begin your therapeutic journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth, and I strive to help clients feel heard, understood, and respected throughout the counseling process. I bring empathy, authenticity, and genuine curiosity to each session, recognizing that every client's experiences and challenges are unique. I am skilled at helping clients identify patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships while encouraging insight, self-awareness, and personal growth. My collaborative approach allows clients to actively participate in their treatment, ensuring that therapy is tailored to their individual needs, strengths, and goals. In addition, I have experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, stress, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. I integrate evidence-based interventions with culturally responsive practices to provide care that is both effective and respectful of each client's background and lived experiences. As a doctoral-level counseling trainee committed to lifelong learning, I continuously seek opportunities to expand my knowledge and clinical skills. This dedication allows me to bring current research, professional training, and thoughtful clinical insight into my work. My goal is to help clients develop practical coping strategies, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and gain the confidence needed to navigate challenges and create lasting positive change in their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adolescents, adults, and couples who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed by life's demands, emotionally exhausted, or uncertain about how to move forward. Some may be struggling with difficult relationships, while others are navigating personal losses, career changes, family concerns, or major life adjustments. I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore these challenges and work toward meaningful growth and healing. My approach is particularly beneficial for individuals who are motivated to gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns. I enjoy helping clients identify obstacles that may be preventing them from reaching their goals and developing healthier coping strategies to manage stress and emotional distress. Together, we work to build resilience, improve self-awareness, and strengthen confidence in their ability to handle life's challenges. I also work well with clients who want to improve communication, establish healthier boundaries, and develop stronger relationships with partners, family members, and others in their lives. For couples, I provide a collaborative space to address conflict, strengthen connection, and foster greater understanding of one another's experiences and needs. As a clinician currently completing a doctoral degree in counseling, I am committed to ongoing professional growth and integrating evidence-based practices into my work. I value cultural humility and strive to provide therapy that is responsive to each client's unique background, identity, and lived experiences. My goal is to help clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they work toward greater emotional well-being, healthier relationships, and a more fulfilling life. Whether clients are seeking support during a difficult period or pursuing long-term personal growth, I am dedicated to walking alongside them throughout their therapeutic journey.
