I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 19 years of experience in the field. I believe in being present with a person and incorporating holistic approaches to helping individuals achieve their goals. I understand that providing a space for someone to express their thoughts and feelings free of judgment may be the key to unlocking their growth and success. I have experience working with individuals facing challenges with anxiety, depression, stress, communication issues, and low self-esteem. I draw from a variety of approaches, including talk therapy, mindfulness, CBT, and DBT-informed skills to address these concerns. I also integrate spirituality into my practice, tailoring my approach to each person’s unique needs. My hope is that if given the opportunity to be a part of your healing journey, you walk away feeling empowered about the growth ahead. I work to create a safe space for authenticity and self-discovery, while collaborating on goals to create a healthier version of yourself.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, clients can expect a warm and welcoming space where we begin getting to know each other and exploring what brings them to therapy at their own pace. I will ask questions to better understand current concerns, personal history, and goals, while also making space for clients to share what feels most important to them. We will begin identifying what they hope to work on in therapy and discuss how we might approach that together in a way that feels supportive and manageable. My priority is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable beginning their healing journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is my ability to create a safe, grounded, and nonjudgmental space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. I value building authentic therapeutic relationships and meeting each person with empathy, respect, and curiosity about their unique story. I have extensive experience supporting individuals and families impacted by trauma, mental health diagnoses, co-occurring disorders, and chronic health conditions, as well as individuals transitioning into adulthood and older adults redefining their lives in later stages.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Clients I am best positioned to serve are those who are open to self-exploration, curious about their experiences, and ready to work toward meaningful goals at a pace that feels right for them. I offer a warm, person-centered, and strengths-based approach, serving as both a supportive listening ear and an active guide through reflective questions. I am a great fit for clients who value a holistic perspective that considers mind, body, and spirit, and who are interested in building self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, improving emotional regulation, navigating life transitions, and deepening overall well-being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to work collaboratively with clients to notice how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, gently challenge patterns that aren’t serving them, and practice more helpful ways of thinking and responding in everyday situations.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to guide clients in exploring mixed feelings about change, strengthening their internal motivation, and taking steps that reflect what matters most to them.

Psychoeducation

I use psychoeducation to gently share meaningful information about clients’ experiences in a way that connects mind, body, and environment, helping them feel more understood and supported while making informed, empowered choices.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach to help clients better understand their experiences while recognizing the resilience and skills they already bring. By building on what’s working, I support clients in feeling more confident, capable, and empowered to make meaningfu choices.

Trauma Informed Care

I use a trauma-informed care approach by creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel respected and in control of their process. I remain mindful of how past experiences may influence present responses, and I work at a pace that supports regulation, choice, and resilience.
