I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel like a safe exhale and a space where you can be your raw, authentic self without judgment. I understand therapy isn’t for everyone, but I believe healing is your birthright. My style is warm, collaborative, and rooted in trauma-informed, person-centered care. I honor the complexities of life and the non-linear nature of healing, meeting each person in their humanness. I help young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions reconnect with their sense of self and remember that they are already whole, even in moments of struggle.
In our first session, my priority is to create a welcoming space where you can feel safe and at ease. We’ll take time to get to know each other, talk about what brought you to therapy, and explore your hopes and needs at a pace that feels comfortable. There’s no pressure to share everything at once as our focus will be on building trust, establishing rapport, and giving you peace of mind that this is a space where you can show up just as you are.
My greatest strength is showing up authentically and creating a space where clients can feel safe to do the same. I blend trauma-informed, evidence-based practices with a person-centered, humanistic approach that honors each person’s individuality. What makes me unique is how I embody my “wholly me” philosophy through modeling self-acceptance, creativity, and a collaborative process that allows clients to take ownership of their decisions and guide their own healing journey.
My ideal clients are young adults and adults who may feel weighed down by anxiety, depression, trauma, or self-doubt. Many are navigating life transitions or struggling to accept themselves fully. They don’t need to have it all figured out; just a willingness to show up as they are. I’m here to meet clients in their humanness, honor the complexities of their journey, and support them as they rediscover that healing is their birthright and they are already whole.
I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens, recognizing the ways past experiences can shape how we feel and respond in the present. My focus is on creating safety, building trust, and helping clients move at a pace that feels right for them while exploring their story.
I integrate mindfulness-based practices to help clients develop awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and physical responses. This allows them to build coping strategies, reduce anxiety, and cultivate a greater sense of presence and calm in their daily lives.
I use motivational interviewing to support clients in clarifying their values and building confidence in making changes. This collaborative approach helps clients explore ambivalence and discover their own motivation for moving toward the life they want.
I believe each person has an innate capacity for growth and healing. My humanistic approach emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, allowing clients to feel seen and supported as they reconnect with their strengths.
At the core of my work is a person-centered approach, where clients are the experts of their own lives. Sessions are often client-led, and I aim to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel empowered to guide the direction of their healing journey.
