About me

Hi im Heather, a Licensed Marriage and Fmaily Therapist. I work with individuals, couples, and families, helping them navigate emotional challenges, improve relationships and create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and supportive and I believe everyone has the ability to grow and move towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

After our first session, I hope my client feels heard, understood, and comfortable being their authentic self. I want them to leave feeling a sense of hope and knowing that they don’t have to navigate their challenges alone. Most importantly, I hope they feel that we’ve created a safe space where they can begin to explore, grow, and work toward meaningful change together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of the greatest strengths I bring to my clients is my ability to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they feel heard and understood. I meet each person where they are and work collaboratively with them to identify practical steps toward positive change. I bring empathy, authenticity, and a genuine belief in each client’s ability to grow and overcome challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward and is ready to make a change. I enjoy working with adolescents, couples, and families who are willing to explore new perspectives and work collaboratively toward their goals. Most importantly, I value working with people who want to feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges.

My treatment methods

Compassion Focused

I use Compassion-Focused Therapy to help clients develop a kinder, more understanding relationship with themselves. Together, we explore self-criticism, shame, and difficult emotions while building skills to respond to themselves with greater compassion and understanding. My goal is to help clients recognize that struggling does not mean they are failing, and to develop a stronger sense of safety, confidence, and resilience as they move through life’s challenges.
