Artia Reynolds
I’m a down-to-earth therapist who believes therapy should feel like a space where you can show up as yourself—without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I work with adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, anxiety, trauma, and the moments when life simply feels overwhelming or uncertain. My approach is open-minded, collaborative, and solution-oriented. I want to understand not only what you’re struggling with, but also who you are, what has shaped you, and where you want your life to go. Together, we can make sense of patterns, build on your strengths, and identify practical ways to move forward. You can expect warmth, honesty, curiosity, and a little humor when appropriate. I believe therapy can hold space for difficult emotions while still helping you recognize your own ability to create meaningful change.
Strengths
I bring warmth, curiosity, and an open minded, nonjudgemental presence to each session. I'm intentional about listening beyond what is being said and understanding the emotions, experiences, and patterns beneath the surface. I believe one of my strengths is helping clients make their own connections they may not have recognized on their own while creating space for them to feel heard and understood. I also value honesty and will gently challenge perspectives or patterns when it can support deeper insight and growth. Most importantly, I meet clients where they are and allow their individual needs, experiences, and goals to guide our work together.
Treatment methods
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation where you can show up as yourself. I meet you where you are, without judgment or pressure, and create space for you to talk openly about what's going on. Together, we'll make sense of what you're experiencing, recognize patterns, and work toward changes that feel meaningful and realistic for you.
Narrative
The experiences we've had can shape the stories we tell ourselves about who we are. Together, we'll explore those stories, separate you from the problems you are facing, and challenge beliefs that may no longer fit. This creates space to see yourself through your strengths, values, and the direction you want your life to take.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Sometimes the way we think, feel , and respond can create patterns that keep us feeling stuck. We'll slow these patterns down, look at what may be happening beneath the surface, and find practical ways to approach things differently. -it's about understanding yourself better and developing tools that actually work in your everyday life.
