Are you looking for someone who will really listen with empathy, compassion, and without judgment while offering tools to help you find your way forward? My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), I help individuals navigate substance use challenges, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and other life stressors. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way and build the insight and skills to create lasting change. I’m mindful of how systems of oppression, inequity, and the weight of the world can impact mental and emotional well-being. I strive to create a space that feels inclusive, affirming, and grounded in compassion and respect for each person’s unique experience. It’s a privilege to walk alongside people as they rediscover their strength and resilience and to witness the growth that happens when they feel truly seen and supported.

First session

In our first few sessions, we will take the time to review your history and develop treatment goals. Throughout treatment, I will provide you with essential tools and resources to address your identified problem(s) and we will periodically assess your progress to fine-tune our collaborative approach. You will gain insight into your core beliefs and thoughts, how these affect your behavior, and how to change them.

Strengths

I am apt at tailoring my approach based on your needs. I will help you dig deep to identify your core beliefs, identify the ones that no longer serve you, and help you tap into your inner resources to address them.

Ideal clients

I can best serve clients who are willing to spend the time required to identify and process past and present experiences that may get in the way of the living a life filled with their chosen values.
