PMHNP, 9 years of experience
I'm a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for whole-person care. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and life transitions through a supportive, collaborative approach. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped with tools to improve your mental wellness and daily life. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, and stress related to relationships, career, or life transitions. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I integrate both medication management and talk-based approaches, including supportive and interpersonal therapy, to meet your unique needs. Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or stability, I’m here to support you in moving forward at your own pace — with compassion and without judgment.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive space where we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your current concerns, medical and mental health history, and what you’re hoping to gain from treatment. This session is also your opportunity to share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll discuss potential treatment options, including therapy, medication, or a combination of both, and I’ll answer any questions you have. By the end of the session, we’ll create a plan that feels collaborative, respectful, and tailored to your needs. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, informed, and hopeful about your next steps.
What stands out about my approach is the balance I bring between medical expertise and relational, compassionate care. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment—I take time to understand your full story, not just your symptoms. I integrate evidence-based medication management with therapeutic methods like supportive, interpersonal, and cognitive approaches, depending on what fits best for you. Clients often share that they feel safe, truly listened to, and not rushed in our sessions. I work to build trust and create a space where you can be honest, even on the hard days. My goal is not just to reduce symptoms, but to help you reconnect with your own strength, gain insight, and build tools that make life feel more manageable and meaningful.
My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to take an active role in their healing, even if they're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about where to begin. I’m especially well-suited to support those managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and the emotional impact of chronic stress or life transitions. Many of my clients are high achievers or caretakers who have learned to put others first and are now learning how to prioritize themselves. Whether you’re exploring medication, looking for a clearer understanding of your mental health, or seeking a safe space to process difficult emotions and relationships, I’m here to help you move forward with insight, intention, and compassion. I meet clients where they are and work collaboratively to develop practical, personalized strategies for meaningful change.
We will incorporate interpersonal therapy to help the client explore how current and past relationships impact their mood and self-worth. Focus areas will include improving communication skills, navigating role transitions (e.g., post-breakup), and processing unresolved grief. Through this work, we will build healthier relational patterns and develop greater emotional insight and support.
