Hi! Are you suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, bipolar and eating disorders? I will help you to be able to successfully coexist with these conditions via collaborative care. We will develop a treatment plan together that may include medication or just therapy, for which I will refer you to a therapist. I am employed by a company called Green health Services in Orlando, Florida, and I offer virtual (starting at 6 am), and in-office appointments (starting at 9 am). I'm a dual board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner based in Orlando, Florida. This means that I can treat your medical conditions that might be affecting your mentation. I received my Doctorate in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, my Masters from the University of Cincinnati in family nurse practitioner, and my degree in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Wilkes university, and have been practicing for 8 years. I assist people with the diagnosis of their mental health condition followed by medication initiation and management, and/or the acquisition of psychotherapy per their desire.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will be followed by screening tests for correct psychiatric diagnosis followed by collaborative treatment to include medication management if so desired. Some people do not want medication which is ok, but at least with a proper diagnosis, one can be steered to the correct form of therapy for assistance with resolution.
Over the past 10 years I have found that listening to the client is a very important component when providing effective psychiatric care. I've developed a process for helping you to identify your diagnosis and to create a tailored treatment plan.
I work with clients from the ages of 6 and up, and diagnose and treat a multitude of conditions to include PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar, eating disorders, and post partum depression.
