New to Grow
Whether you are managing anxiety, processing trauma, or seeking tools to navigate stress and life challenges, therapy can be a space for restoration and meaningful change. Seeing real change, no matter how large or small is important. With a solutions focus, and a plan in mind, I believe we can reach solutions together. I work with individuals who are navigating complex trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Therapy provides a space to slow down, process what you’ve experienced, and develop healthier ways to cope and move forward. The journey to the other side, starts today. Come on, I'll walk with you. I specialize in helping clients understand how trauma and stress impact thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while building practical skills for emotional regulation, resilience, and personal growth. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard & respected.
In our first session, my primary focus is on building rapport and creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We’ll take time to discuss what brings you to therapy, as well as your history with mental health and any previous experiences with counseling. I may also complete or introduce appropriate assessments to better understand your needs and current functioning. From there, we’ll begin to identify your goals and discuss how we can work together to support your progress. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, get a sense of my approach, and ensure that the fit feels right for you.
My greatest strengths include my ability to actively listen and create a space where clients feel both heard and understood—including the parts of their story that may be difficult to share. I prioritize seeking to understand first, which helps build trust and a strong therapeutic relationship. I am also skilled in reframing, helping clients see their experiences from new perspectives that support growth and change. I incorporate psychoeducation to provide clients with practical tools and insight, while maintaining a realistic, goal-oriented approach to progress. Additionally, I bring a supportive and encouraging presence, helping clients stay motivated as they work toward meaningful and sustainable change.
My ideal clients are individuals who are ready for change, even if they don’t yet have everything fully figured out. They are open to self-reflection, willing to engage in the process, and motivated to take meaningful steps toward their goals. I work best with clients who want to better understand themselves, develop practical tools to manage their emotions, and create lasting change in their lives. Many are navigating anxiety, life transitions, stress, or patterns they’re ready to break, and are looking for both insight and actionable strategies. Together, we focus on building clarity, strengthening coping skills, and working toward defined goals—while also allowing space for growth along the way. I often encourage clients to “start with the end in mind,” helping them stay grounded in their long-term vision while taking intentional steps forward.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and life stressors. I use CBT to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while developing practical coping strategies for change. I also incorporate SFBT by focusing on strengths, goal-setting, and small, actionable steps that help clients build confidence and momentum. My approach is collaborative and flexible, allowing me to tailor evidence-based techniques to each client’s unique needs and goals.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have experience using Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with clients who have experienced trauma, including those with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I use TF-CBT to help clients process traumatic experiences in a safe, structured way while building coping skills to manage emotional responses. My approach includes supporting clients in understanding how trauma impacts thoughts and behaviors, developing grounding and regulation skills, and gradually working through trauma narratives at a pace that feels safe and appropriate. I prioritize creating a supportive, collaborative environment that promotes healing, resilience, and long-term stability.
