About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 17 years of experience helping individuals navigate many of life’s challenges, including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma and life transitions. In my practice I strive to provide a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental environment, where you will be heard, supported, and empowered to be the best possible version of yourself. There is no one size fits all approach when it comes to therapy. I will work with you to find the best approach to promote your personal growth, healing and self-awareness. We will work together to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy and mutual respect with the goal of achieving lasting therapeutic change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, you can expect a warm, thoughtful conversation focused on getting to know each other and what brought you to therapy. We will discuss mutual goals, expectations, and any previous experiences with therapy. During this initial session we will also go over what to expect during the course of therapy and whether it makes sense to move forward with the therapeutic relationship.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with a diverse group of people in various settings, I understand that each individual comes with their own unique story, strengths and challenges. My approach is client centered and focused on helping clients to feel comfortable exploring the uncomfortable in a safe, non-judgmental space. I strive to provide a warm, authentic environment where you will feel heard, seen and empowered to make decisions leading to lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are ready to look inward and actively shape their next chapter. Whether you are an 18-year-old navigating the threshold of adulthood, a mid-life professional re-evaluating your path, or an elder looking to process a lifetime of experiences, our work together will be deeply transformative. My ideal clients are self-reflective, curious about their own patterns, and genuinely motivated for meaningful change. You don't have to have all the answers right now—you just need the willingness to explore, grow, and take active steps toward a more authentic life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the evidenced based techniques I often use in practice to help individuals recognize and change unhealthy thinking patterns which have been negatively impacting their well-being. Together we will work on identifying these patterns, exploring how they are keeping you stuck and collaboratively working towards building coping strategies which will help improve your emotional well-being and functioning.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

You cannot stop stressful situations from happening, but you can change how they impact your mind and body. I teach practical mindfulness techniques that help you wake up to the present moment, catch your automatic stress responses as they happen, and navigate life's inevitable storms with a clear mind and a calm nervous system.

Grief Therapy

Grief is not a problem to be solved or a disease to be cured; it is a profound reflection of your love and connection. Whether you are mourning the death of a loved one, navigating the painful end of a relationship, or processing a major life transition, your grief deserves a safe harbor. In our sessions, we do not rush to 'fix' your pain or force you to 'move on.' Instead, we hold a compassionate space for all the complex layers of loss—anger, sadness, confusion, and relief. Together, we will work at your own pace to honor your story, gently ground your nervous system when the waves feel overwhelming, and eventually discover how to carry your grief while rebuilding a meaningful life.
