I specialize in treating survivors! So many of us have endured abuse, trauma or self induced addictions. Many of us are haunted by our past or stuck in our current situations. How do we balance our hectic lives emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually? How do we find peace, happiness and fulfillment, or at least the absence of anxiety and depression? If you are not happy with your life, sometimes a little help is all it takes. Let me assist you in doing more than just surviving, but in thriving and finding your best life!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

When we meet, I encourage you to interview me as the position of your therapist! This is your therapy & it is most important to me for you to feel comfortable. Then, WE will explore together your goals in therapy & how best to get you there!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I utilize Person Centered and Positive Psychology, as well at Trauma Focused therapies. EMDR has been a life changer! It brings relief from anxiety, depression, stress & especially trauma! My treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a psychotherapy technique used to treat traumatic memories and the associated symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT places a stronger emphasis on accepting and regulating intense emotions through mindfulness practices, while CBT focuses primarily on identifying and changing negative thought patterns to influence behavior

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It's most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, but can be useful for other mental and physical health problems.
