Hello, my name is Alanis Campbell! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California. Since I was a child, I knew I wanted to help others and I entered the healthcare/helping profession at the age of seventeen. I am thankful every day to have made a career of helping others and I pour my heart into the work I do. I have worked in various acute healthcare and grief support group settings over the years. I am passionate about walking alongside clients through their mental health journey. I strive to take a collaborative approach helping clients recognize their strengths and develop tools to empower them to build a new sense of hope. My favorite saying is, "Every seed grows in its own time and its own way."
In our first session, we will start with a brief introduction to get to know each other. Then, I will ask for your input on what led you to seek therapy and what goals you desire to achieve. This will help us collaboratively develop a tailored treatment plan that will guide our future therapy sessions.
My strength as a provider is my ability to provide an empathetic approach to allow individuals to feel heard, understood, and supported. It is my top priority to maintain a warm, non-judgmental, and culturally sensitive environment in a committed effort to maintain a safe space. I value getting to know each client I walk alongside and genuinely strive to understand your perspective. Through active listening, open communication, and ongoing collaboration together we can develop positive change. I have a strong appreciation and use of social work values allowing me to recognize how interconnected factors, such as social, cultural, and environmental elements impact our well-being. My background across various acute healthcare settings has developed my skills in applying evidence-based interventions that are inclusive of the diverse needs within our community. Furthermore, I withhold emotional resiliency to aid in navigating sensitive and challenging situations life can bring. I would be honored to be your guide through your transformative journey.

I am passionate about meeting clients where they are and believe that one therapy approach does not fit all.
