New to Grow
I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Many of my clients are balancing work, relationships, and daily responsibilities while feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. My approach is warm, supportive, and practical, with a focus on helping clients feel comfortable, understood, and better equipped to manage daily life with greater confidence, clarity, and balance.
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk through what’s been bringing you to therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Together, we’ll begin identifying the patterns, stressors, or relationship challenges that may be contributing to those feelings, while also exploring what you hope to gain from therapy. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood. We’ll discuss your goals, answer any questions you may have, and begin building a plan that feels realistic and manageable. Most clients leave the first session with more clarity, a sense of direction, and a better understanding of how therapy can support them moving forward.
My approach is grounded in a client-centered, solution-focused style that is supportive, collaborative, and practical. I work well with adults who are balancing work, relationships, and daily responsibilities while struggling with anxiety, stress, communication difficulties, or life transitions. In our time together, we’ll draw from approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and other evidence-based strategies to help you better understand patterns, manage anxiety, improve communication, and build healthier coping skills. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves without pressure or judgment. Clients often appreciate that therapy with me feels both supportive and useful—I value insight and emotional understanding while also focusing on practical tools that can be realistically applied in daily life.
I work best with adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions while trying to balance the responsibilities of daily life. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who are used to managing things on their own, but internally feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or disconnected in their relationships. Clients often come to therapy wanting to better manage anxiety, improve communication, set healthier boundaries, increase self-confidence, or gain more clarity and balance in their lives. I’m especially well positioned to support clients who are motivated for change, open to self-reflection, and looking for a collaborative, supportive approach that combines emotional insight with practical tools they can apply in everyday life.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use cognitive-behavioral therapy to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Many clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety, overthinking, self-criticism, or relationship stress. Through CBT, we work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build practical tools that can be applied in daily life. I often incorporate CBT techniques to help clients improve emotional awareness, reduce anxiety, strengthen communication, and feel more confident managing life’s challenges.
Supportive
Supportive therapy is an important part of my approach and focuses on creating a safe, encouraging, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I work collaboratively with clients to help them process stress, navigate difficult emotions, and build on their existing strengths. Through validation, encouragement, and practical guidance, supportive therapy can help clients feel more grounded, improve self-confidence, and better cope with challenges related to anxiety, relationships, and life transitions.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
My work is strongly influenced by person-centered therapy, which emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I believe therapy works best when clients feel accepted and supported without judgment. In practice, this means meeting clients where they are, listening with empathy, and allowing space for clients to openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. This approach helps foster trust, self-awareness, and personal growth while empowering clients to move toward meaningful change.
