New to Grow
Hi, I’m Rose Browne, a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes healing happens when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. I specialize in helping adolescents and adults navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, personality disorders, and relationship challenges. My approach combines evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR with warmth, compassion, and genuine curiosity. As someone who has experienced the impact of trauma personally, I understand how overwhelming life can feel. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can build resilience, gain insight, and create lasting change at your own pace.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to help you feel comfortable from the very beginning. During our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re facing, and what you hope life will look like as you heal. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, strengths, and goals while giving you plenty of space to share at your own pace. Together, we’ll begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. Most importantly, this first session is about building trust and determining whether we’re a good fit to work together.
Clients often describe me as compassionate, genuine, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership where you are both supported and challenged to grow. I combine evidence-based interventions with empathy, practical tools, and thoughtful feedback that helps you gain insight and create meaningful change. My personal journey through trauma has given me a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to ask for help, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and empowered. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy I tailor every session to your goals, strengths, and individual story.
My ideal client is someone who feels overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck and is ready to create lasting change. They may be struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or overwhelming stress. They value a therapist who is both compassionate and honest, someone who will listen deeply while also helping them challenge unhelpful patterns and develop practical skills. Whether they’ve been in therapy before or are taking the courageous first step, they’re looking for a safe, supportive environment where healing is possible and personal growth is encouraged.
