New to Grow
I work with teens and adults navigating depression, anxiety, and trauma. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, helping clients feel supported as they build insight, develop positive coping skills, and gain meaningful tools to foster lasting change. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, heard, and empowered, so they can navigate life’s challenges with greater insight, resilience, and self-compassion.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, we’ll take time to review important information, including confidentiality and what therapy with me will look like. I’ll ask questions to better understand what’s bringing you to therapy, your goals, and your experiences, while also giving you space to share at your own pace. Most importantly, the first session is about building rapport and creating a comfortable, safe, and nonjudgmental environment where you can begin to feel supported and understood.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to build strong rapport and create a space where clients feel comfortable, seen, and truly heard. I lead with kindness and compassion, while also gently challenging clients when appropriate to help them gain insight and move toward meaningful change. Clients often appreciate feeling supported without judgment, encouraged to explore difficult thoughts and emotions, and empowered to grow at a pace that feels right for them.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I support teens and adults who are looking for a safe space to better understand themselves and their emotions. I work well with clients who are open to self-reflection, want to develop healthier coping skills, and are willing to examine and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, caught in negative self-talk, or ready to find greater emotional balance, I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you work toward meaningful change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. Through a collaborative and practical approach, I support clients in challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, building positive coping skills, and creating lasting, positive change in their everyday lives.
