I am a licensed clinical social worker in the Los Angeles area and have been practicing mental health in social work for 14 years. I have worked with clients from across the life spectrum and in different settings, including the hospital and family clinics, but most recently have specialized in adults going through life transitions and managing depression and anxiety.
In our first session together, we will do an introductory assessment to find out more about yourself, and then focus in on what meaningful goals of treatment would look like for you. After establishing goals, we would review what therapy interventions may look lie as well as how you will know once your goals have been met. We will also establish a schedule for future sessions.
Having worked with people from varying walks of life, I have honed in on the ability to uncover what is truly important to my clients, unbeknownst to them or not, to uncover their true desires and progress toward their goals with newfound insight.
I love working with professionals who are experiencing changes in multiple areas, be it work, relationships and or personal improvement. My clients are engaged and ready to do the work, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious.

I use CBT as the most evidenced based modality to identify thought distortions and find positive ways to reframe these thoughts to promote an increase in ability to accomplish what is most important in one's life.
We all have our own story, some of them are helpful and some are not. Knowing the story we are telling ourselves and choosing when we want to re-write it.
