First session
The firts session is to get to know the patient including their chilhood, school age, hobbies, etc. As well as addressing the symptoms/ reasons for the the appointment. In this appointment, we will disscuss the tretament methods and develop a plan of care that may include therapy, medications, supplements or a combination of them. All the information will be provided and the patient will deside how to precedd.

My greatest strenght is my experience in different settings including outpatient and acute crisis/ detox facilities
Ideal clients
I serve patients from the ages of 12 to 75 years old suffering from mental health disorders, including military and first responders suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, among others. My main focus is treatment-resistant depression and combat and first responder PTSD. Also, neurodivergent patients struggling to understand the different ways their brains work. Another passion of mine is the LGBTQ+ community.

Motivational Interviewing
All my sessions include motivational interviewing methods to encourage the patient to commit to improve their health.
Psychoeducation
Psychoeducation includes explaining the patient the why and why nots to have a better idea of the process
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Changing out thoughts and behaviors is important part of obtaining a better health.
