I am a licensed mental health counselor who enjoys working with children, young adults, couples, families and individuals. I hold a masters in community and agency counseling as well as an EdS degree in counseling. My areas of expertise include depression and anxiety disorders, relational issues, adjustment disorders, military family issues and transitioning, parenting issues and education, trauma, substance abuse, ADHD, crisis intervention, self-esteem issues and anger management. I am the founder and owner of Believe and Inspire Counseling. My mission is to help you heal. When you start to believe, we manifest inspiration which lead to healing. My priority is your overall wellbeing and mindfulness. I enjoy using a combination of interventions that will empower you to learn and develop tools to enhance your insight and mindfulness as well as change distorted thinking.
First session
I want you to leave your session feeling better but most of all with clarity. Therapy can be scary when not knowing what to expect. Know that we will work together to build a rapport and the best course of care for you. Throughout the process you will be challenged to reach your goals as well as supported. You will take away life skills and tools so that you are empowered to continue managing your own wellbeing even after therapy ends. The goal is to become self-sufficient
