Charlotte Kemp Patterson
In my years of psychotherapy practice, I have accumulated various approaches that dwell both inside and outside of the traditional methods. Based on my past life works and my current passion, I now offer a more transpersonal approach to guide those who wish to accept themselves as they are and change their toxic lifestyle and/or environment. I do not use a "recipe book" approach, but an intuitional one that is unique to each individual.
First session
Our first session is where my client and I get to know each other and what we can each expect for the future of our therapy sessions. Specific goals may be decided upon in a later session, but it is important to know that a good relationship is established early.
Strengths
My greatest strength is my self-confidence. Watching my clients blossom into confident accepting people who now have coping mechanisms to deal with daily life or traumatic pasts gives me my strength.
Ideal clients
I find I best serve those who are struggling with the stressors of everyday life. Those who hope to learn how to cope with the stress and desire to change their path to one offering peace and self-confidence.

Transpersonal
Unlike most forms of psychotherapy that concentrate on improving mental health alone, transpersonal therapy addresses mental, physical, social, emotional, creative, and intellectual needs, with an emphasis on the role of a healthy spirit in healing. Transpersonal therapy integrates spiritual traditions into modern psychology. emphasizing positive influences rather than concentrating on negative experiences. The holistic treatment is based on the idea that humans are more than just their mind and body, but are also composed of intangible, or transcendent, factors that make up the whole person.
