As a therapist, I believe everyone is the expert of their own lives, and sometimes we need assistance sorting through all the clutter in our minds. I believe a major way to gain clarity is through overcoming and navigating life’s breakdowns and challenges. There is something liberating about embracing our imperfect selves and being brave enough to face reality. Along with being a therapist, I am also a wife and a mother of two, so I understand how difficult it can be to navigate life wearing many hats.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then have you explain the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Growing up, my family moved often, which allowed me to experience different types of people and develop cultural sensitivity. My diverse background and cultural sensitivity have helped me gain and maintain cultural competence, which gives me the ability to effectively apply counseling skills to culturally diverse client populations. My background has also made me very open-minded, and I allow my counseling sessions to be judgment-free so clients can speak freely.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I have experience counseling through stressful life events, relationship challenges, treating obsessive-compulsive disorders, addiction disorders, anxiety disorders, and depression disorders in adults and adolescents.
