Greetings: It is my profound belief that mental health is just as important as our physical health and is deserving of the same attention as our physical health. Because not all wounds are visible as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am dedicated to helping to heal the unseen through empowerment. I do this by helping individuals overcome their mental health challenges in an environment that safe, non-judgmental, supportive, compassionate. confidential and culturally sensitive. Together we can learn how to build healthy, productive and fulfilling relationships with ourselves and others.
Therapy is a process and if we allow ourselves to trust the process, we can expect to have an opportunity to explore our thoughts and feelings without judgement, improve our self-awareness, development of new coping strategies, and improvement is our relationships are some of the benefits of therapy.
My therapeutic framework is tailored to the individual situation however, I am well versed in a variety of treatment methods ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Therapy, (MBSR), Trauma Therapy, Grief Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Insight Oriented Therapy are some of the methods that I utilize in my practice.
