If you are seeking healing from your past, healthier relationships, and personal growth, I would love the opportunity to come alongside you on your journey. Healing can happen in a collaborative, compassionate, and supportive therapeutic relationship. I want to help you break free from the bonds of your past so that you are able to reach your fullest potential in the future. I primarily work from an eclectic approach and utilize EMDR to help individuals reprocess past trauma and unhealthy belief systems. I strive to create a supportive and safe environment to process through these barriers to healing. I have 12 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I have worked with clients from various cultures and backgrounds as well as all age groups. I hold two Bachelor's degrees from UC San Diego in Psychology and Economics and a Master's degree from Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology. I have helped clients in addressing a multitude of issues including trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, grief and loss, relational struggles, and addiction.
Clients can expect to come to a warm and inviting environment. I work on adapting sessions to client's needs and take an individualized approach to meeting these needs. Clients can expect to walk away from sessions feeling lighter and more at ease with a better understanding of their problems. I work with clients on setting action steps that may need to be taken to address these problem areas.
I take an eclectic approach to therapy and work on meeting the need of the client. I combine aspects and skills from EMDR, CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy to help clients move forward in their process.
I am truly passionate about helping my clients on the road toward healing and making long-lasting and meaningful changes in their lives. I work with clients to see the connection between past experiences and their current struggles. I look forward to the opportunity to help increase understanding and insight on your journey towards healing.
