Nicole Neale
Hi! I’m Dr. Nicole Neale, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and founder of Clementine Psychiatry. I work with children, teens, and adults with mood disorders, anxiety, eating disorders, ADHD, OCD, sleep concerns, and complex psychiatric symptoms. I’m especially helpful when treatment hasn’t worked, medications have caused problems, or the diagnosis just doesn’t seem to fit. My style is warm, direct, and thorough, with a focus on finding the right treatment—not simply adding more medication. Clementine Psychiatry does not currently prescribe controlled substances.
First session
We’ll review your symptoms, history, previous diagnoses, and medications—including what helped, what didn’t, and what may have been missed. You can expect thoughtful questions, clear explanations, and a treatment plan you actually understand.
Strengths
I’m good at making complicated psychiatric histories make sense. I listen closely, explain my clinical reasoning, and am comfortable rethinking a diagnosis or medication plan when something isn’t working. You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong before you come in—figuring that out is part of my job.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone who feels stuck, misunderstood, or unsure whether their current diagnosis, regimen or treatment plan really fits. I work especially well with patients who have tried multiple treatment methods and modalities without enough improvement, have overlapping or complex symptoms, or simply want a provider who will look at the full picture and create a clear plan.
Treatment methods
Psychoeducation
I explain diagnoses, medications, side effects, and treatment options in plain language so you understand what we’re treating, why I’m recommending something, and what we’re watching for.
Trauma-Informed Care
I provide respectful, collaborative care that recognizes how past experiences can affect mood, anxiety, sleep, attention, eating patterns, relationships, and treatment response.
Supportive
I combine space to talk openly with clear clinical guidance. We’ll sort through what is happening, identify what needs attention, and focus on practical next steps.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I incorporate practical CBT-based strategies to help identify patterns between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and symptoms alongside psychiatric evaluation and medication management.
