Taylor Bradley
I’m Dr. Taylor Bradley, a doctoral prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner offering thoughtful, highly personalized care for adults who want more from their mental health experience. My approach blends evidence based psychiatry with meaningful psychotherapy to address anxiety, mood concerns, burnout, life transitions, and questions of identity and fulfillment. I’ve created a space where care feels unhurried, collaborative, and intentionally tailored to you, because I believe feeling truly seen and understood is where meaningful change begins.
First session
You can expect your first session to feel warm, thoughtful, and unhurried. We’ll take time to explore what brings you to care, your experiences, concerns, and what you hope to feel differently in your life. Together, we’ll begin creating a personalized path forward that may include psychotherapy, medication, or a thoughtful combination of both. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and confident that your care was designed with you in mind.
Strengths
I bring nearly a decade of experience in mental health care, along with a therapeutic approach that is both clinically comprehensive and deeply personalized. My training spans multiple forms of psychotherapy, allowing me to thoughtfully integrate different therapeutic techniques based on your needs, personality, experiences, and goals. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I can also provide comprehensive medication management, creating tailored treatment plans that consider not only symptoms, but your lifestyle, preferences, overall wellness, and response to treatment. When appropriate, I incorporate holistic approaches alongside traditional psychiatric care. My greatest strength is bringing these pieces together so that treatment never feels one size fits all, but instead feels intentional, collaborative, and uniquely designed for you.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone who may appear capable, accomplished, and put together on the outside, yet knows there is more happening beneath the surface. You may be navigating anxiety, burnout, depression, executive functioning challenges, relationship concerns, life transitions, or a growing sense that the life you have built no longer feels fully aligned with who you are. You value insight, intentionality, and a more personalized approach to mental health care. You are not simply looking for a prescription or a quick fix, but for a thoughtful partnership that helps you understand yourself more deeply, feel better, and create a life that feels as fulfilling on the inside as it may look on the outside.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a practical and collaborative way to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and everyday experiences. Together, we identify patterns of thinking that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, self doubt, perfectionism, avoidance, or feeling stuck, while exploring how those patterns developed and whether they are still serving you. Rather than simply encouraging “positive thinking,” I use CBT to help clients examine their thoughts with greater curiosity, challenge beliefs that may no longer be accurate or helpful, and develop more balanced ways of responding to themselves and their circumstances. I also incorporate behavioral strategies to help translate insight into meaningful changes outside of our sessions. My approach to CBT is individualized and conversational, allowing us to build practical skills while still making space for the deeper experiences, relationships, and patterns that shape who you are.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients develop a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions rather than feeling as though they must eliminate or control them before they can move forward. Together, we explore the difference between what you can control and what you can learn to make space for, while identifying the values, relationships, and experiences that matter most to you. ACT is especially meaningful in my work with clients who struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, identity concerns, or feeling disconnected from the life they have built. I incorporate mindfulness, acceptance, cognitive defusion, values exploration, and committed action to help clients become less governed by fear, self criticism, or uncomfortable emotions. The goal is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to increase psychological flexibility so you can make choices that are more intentional, authentic, and aligned with the person you want to be and the life you want to create.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help clients navigate intense emotions, strengthen relationships, and respond to difficult situations with greater intention rather than feeling controlled by the moment. I incorporate DBT skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, tailoring these tools to each client’s unique needs and real life experiences. A central part of my approach is helping clients recognize that two things can be true at once. You can accept yourself as you are while still wanting to grow and change. I use this balance of acceptance and change to help clients develop healthier boundaries, communicate more effectively, tolerate discomfort, and feel more confident managing emotional challenges. Ultimately, the goal is to build practical skills that help you create a life that feels more stable, connected, and aligned with who you want to be.
Christian Counseling
I use Christian counseling to thoughtfully integrate faith into the therapeutic process for clients who desire it. This may include exploring how spiritual beliefs, prayer, Scripture, identity, purpose, forgiveness, grace, and relationship with God intersect with emotional well being and the challenges you are navigating. My approach remains clinically grounded while honoring faith as a meaningful source of strength, wisdom, and resilience. Rather than assuming what faith should look like for you, I create space to explore your beliefs openly and without judgment, including seasons of doubt, spiritual disconnection, or questions about purpose. When desired, we can integrate Christian principles alongside evidence based psychiatric care and psychotherapy to support healing that considers the mind, body, and spirit.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore change at their own pace. Rather than telling you what you “should” do, I use thoughtful questions, reflective listening, and guided conversation to help uncover your own motivations, values, strengths, and reasons for wanting something different. This approach is especially valuable when you feel conflicted, uncertain, or stuck between where you are and where you would like to be. Together, we explore ambivalence without judgment and identify meaningful, achievable steps toward change. My goal is to help you strengthen trust in your own voice and leave treatment feeling more confident, empowered, and internally motivated to create changes that genuinely align with the life you want.
