New to Grow
I"m Lori, and I have been a therapist for approximately 19 years. I have worked with a variety of clients over my career, and I enjoy watching clients emerge from depression, cope better with anxiety, or manage bipolar symptoms more effectively. I strive to build a good working relationship, so clients feel truly heard and can face challenges with increased support.
In our first session, I would like to get to know more about you. I want you to feel comfortable in sharing what you hope to improve through therapy. I will gather some history, and also check in to see what you feel is the most important issue to address.
I feel I am able to help people feel comfortable about the therapy relationship and process, so they can get the most out of their sessions. I truly believe people can heal and make positive progress, no matter what they are facing.
I feel I work well with adult clients facing life transitions, mental and physical health concerns, and other challenges. Goals could include improved coping, addressing stressors, adjusting to life transitions, or simply therapeutic support. I want my clients to feel free in voicing what works and what doesn't work for them when it comes to coping tools and problem solving.
