I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 26+ years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I have a particular passion for working with women who are accustomed to managing a great deal—careers, relationships, families, caregiving, and other responsibilities—yet find themselves feeling overwhelmed, depleted, or disconnected from themselves. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. Together, we’ll look beyond immediate symptoms to understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, while developing concrete strategies to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your life. I believe therapy can be about more than simply feeling less anxious or overwhelmed. It can also be an opportunity to strengthen relationships, establish healthier boundaries, reconnect with yourself, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help you move toward a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling.
Starting therapy can feel both hopeful and a little intimidating, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what has brought you to therapy, what feels most difficult right now, and what you would like to be different. I’ll ask questions about what you’ve been experiencing, the important relationships and circumstances in your life, and any patterns you’ve noticed in your thoughts, emotions, or behaviors. We’ll also talk about your strengths and what has—or hasn’t—helped in the past. You won’t simply be expected to talk while I sit quietly and listen. I’m an active therapist who asks thoughtful questions, offers observations, and helps you begin making connections between what you’re experiencing and what may be contributing to feeling anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck. You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what to say or having everything figured out. We’ll determine together where to begin and identify goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you. My goal is for you to leave our first sessions feeling understood, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction for the work ahead.
With 26+ years of clinical experience, one of my greatest strengths is recognizing the connections between what you’re experiencing today and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Understanding why you feel or respond a certain way is important, but insight alone doesn’t always create change. I help clients translate insight into meaningful changes in their everyday lives. I take time to understand you as a whole person, not simply a diagnosis or set of symptoms. This allows us to address immediate concerns while also exploring underlying patterns involving perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationships, boundaries, self-expectations, or the ways you have learned to cope with stress. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and attachment-informed work, tailoring treatment to your individual needs and goals. I also bring a balance of compassion and appropriate challenge. I’ll support you without judgment while also helping you question beliefs that may no longer serve you, recognize patterns that are getting in your way, strengthen boundaries, and practice new ways of responding. Ultimately, I want therapy to help you do more than manage symptoms. I want our work to help you develop greater confidence in yourself, healthier relationships, more effective ways of navigating stress, and a stronger sense of balance and fulfillment in your life.
I work best with women who have spent much of their lives being capable, responsible, and there for others, but have reached a point where they realize something needs to change. They may be navigating the complexities of midlife—changing relationships, career transitions, caregiving responsibilities, shifting priorities, or questions about identity and purpose. Many are accustomed to pushing through stress, meeting expectations, and putting their own needs aside. Over time, they may find themselves struggling with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, or a growing sense that they’ve lost touch with themselves along the way. My ideal client is ready to look more closely at these patterns and make meaningful changes—not because she has everything figured out, but because she knows she doesn’t want to keep living on autopilot. She wants to feel more confident in her choices, more connected to herself, and more intentional about how she wants the next chapter of her life to look. Whether your goal is to reduce anxiety, improve relationships, process difficult experiences, build self-confidence, or simply feel more like yourself again, I provide a supportive, collaborative, and judgment-free space where lasting change can happen.

Thoughts, emotions, and behaviors often reinforce one another, particularly when you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, perfectionism, or feeling stuck. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful patterns, challenge beliefs that may no longer serve you, and develop practical strategies you can use in everyday life.
Difficult thoughts and emotions don’t have to dictate your choices. Through acceptance, mindfulness, and exploration of what matters most to you, we’ll work toward greater psychological flexibility so you can respond to challenges differently and make choices that are more aligned with your values.
The relationships and experiences that shaped us can influence how we connect with others, set boundaries, view ourselves, and respond emotionally today. Together, we can identify these patterns and work toward healthier relationships, stronger self-worth, and more secure and fulfilling connections.
Sometimes meaningful change begins by focusing not only on the problem, but on where you want to go next. We’ll identify your strengths, recognize what is already working, clarify what you want to change, and develop realistic steps that can help you move forward.
Mindfulness can help you notice thoughts, emotions, and physical responses without immediately becoming caught up in or reacting to them. These skills can be especially helpful for anxiety, chronic stress, overthinking, and emotional overwhelm, creating greater calm, self-awareness, and choice in how you respond.
