Briana Franklin
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, but you might also call me a self-love advocate. My style of therapy is systemic, collaborative and empathy-driven. I aim to create a safe space where you can explore your feelings, thoughts and aspirations towards any challenges you may be facing. I am passionate about mental health and helping individuals create lives that facilitate growth and wellness. I help clients who want to feel grounded and whole again but are buried under stress, trauma and life experiences. I guide them through the challenging but meaningful and cathartic process of becoming our authentic selves. I know from my own path to wellness that it can be difficult to hold ourselves accountable to wanting more. I believe in the power of relational healing and hope that you choose to start your mental health journey with me! “A generous heart is always open, always ready to receive our going and coming. In the midst of such love we need never fear abandonment. This is the most precious gift true love offers-the experience of knowing we always belong.”-Bell Hooks

Working with me, you can expect to feel heard, validated and cared for. I aim to create an environment where you feel safe, understood and challenged.
Strengths
Some of my biggest strengths are my empathy, level of understanding and my ability to meet people where they are. As a self-love advocate, I know the importance of not only self love but the experience of love in all forms. We heal in community and togetherness. My specialty is couples and family systems. With over 1,000 training hours working with families and couples, I feel confident in my abilities to look at problems from a relational viewpoint. Nothing we do exist in a vacuum, we are all dependent on each other and true healing comes from strong relationships.
