You may be functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, chronic pain, process addiction, and relationship challenges who are seeking not just symptom relief, but a more meaningful and authentic way of living. My approach is holistic, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I strive to create a safe, trusting, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences openly, deepen self-understanding, and move toward lasting change. I believe healing is not only about reducing distress, but about creating the freedom to live a life that feels aligned, connected, and true to who you are. I integrate evidence-based approaches with mindfulness and somatic (body-based) practices to support awareness of the connection between thoughts, emotions, and the nervous system. Together, we build on your strengths, increase emotional resilience, and support you in living more fully in alignment with your values and what matters most to you. I also offer EFT-informed couples therapy and enjoy supporting partners in strengthening connection, improving communication, and navigating challenges with greater understanding and compassion. I have completed specialized training in EMDR, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Gottman Method (Level One), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a chance for us to begin building a safe, collaborative relationship. We'll talk about what has brought you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant experiences, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start—we'll take things one step at a time. You'll also have plenty of opportunity to ask questions, learn about my approach, and decide whether working together feels like the right fit.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I offer a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. I strive to create a space where you can slow down, feel truly heard, and safely explore both your thoughts and your body's responses to stress, trauma, or life's challenges. Together, we'll build on your existing strengths while gently challenging patterns that no longer serve you. My goal is not just symptom relief, but helping you develop a deeper sense of self, greater emotional resilience, and more capacity for joy and connection.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who want more than quick symptom relief—they want to better understand themselves and create lasting change. You may feel weighed down by anxiety, trauma, grief, chronic stress, or patterns that no longer serve you, while sensing there's a more authentic and fulfilling way to live. My approach combines evidence-based, mind-body therapies with deep curiosity and compassion to help you heal, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and purpose. If you're ready to do meaningful work in a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment, I'd be honored to support you.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In my work, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions. Instead of getting stuck trying to control or avoid internal experiences, we'll build mindfulness skills, clarify your personal values, and identify small, meaningful actions that move you toward the life you want.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help clients process distressing memories and experiences in a way that feels structured, collaborative, and paced to their readiness. As memories become less emotionally overwhelming, many clients experience relief from intrusive thoughts, anxiety, emotional reactivity, and even physical symptoms related to stress. Although EMDR is best known for treating trauma and PTSD, it is also highly effective for anxiety, phobias, chronic pain, and other experiences that continue to impact daily life.

Existential

I use existential therapy to help clients navigate life's biggest questions—identity, purpose, relationships, change, loss, and uncertainty. Rather than searching for the "right" answers, we'll explore what feels authentic and meaningful to you. Through this collaborative process, you'll gain greater clarity, confidence in your choices, and a stronger sense of agency in creating the life you want to live.

Mind-body approach

I integrate mind-body approaches to help clients understand how stress, trauma, anxiety, and chronic pain can become stored in patterns of tension and nervous system dysregulation. Alongside traditional talk therapy, we'll incorporate mindfulness, breathwork, movement, and body awareness to support emotional regulation, reduce overwhelm, and help you reconnect with a greater sense of ease, balance, and well-being.
