Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Engaging in therapy and self discovery may seem overwhelming at first, but the result, living one's optimal life is worth the investment. Based on my lived and professional experience, I firmly believe in self-actualization-that everyone can attain the complete realization of their potential. Self-actualization can usually best be achieved by person centered therapy which is premised on the notion that everyone is an "expert" in their own life, can identify areas of their life they would like to change, and with the support of a nonjudgmental and empathetic therapist they can make those changes.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My lived experience and formal education has bestowed me with the humility, empathy, and gratitude necessary to be of service to others.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I can support people facing an array of mental health and/or substance use disorders.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma-Informed Care understands and considers the pervasive nature of trauma and promotes environments of healing and recovery rather than practices and services that may inadvertently re-traumatize. Trauma is extremely common and most people have experienced serious trauma. “Instead of saying, ‘What’s wrong with you?’ we change that into ‘What happened to you?’”
