I am passionate about helping women reconnect with themselves, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy at this time. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, your goals, and any relevant personal, relational, or life history that helps me better understand your experience. We will also begin identifying what feels most important for you to work on and start clarifying goals for therapy. You do not need to have everything figured out—this is a space to talk openly, at your own pace, about what you’re going through. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and supported as we begin building a plan that fits your needs. By the end of the session, we will have a general direction for treatment and discuss how we can move forward together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space where clients feel safe to be honest about what they are experiencing. I help clients feel seen and understood while also gently guiding them toward clarity, insight, and meaningful change. I specialize in working with women through life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm, and I am skilled at helping clients make sense of complex emotions such as anxiety, grief, shame, and confusion. I focus on both emotional insight and practical strategies so clients can feel more grounded and empowered in their daily lives. My approach is integrative and strengths-based, drawing from emotionally focused therapy, motivational interviewing, self-compassion practices, and trauma-informed care. I am especially effective at helping clients recognize patterns, reconnect with their values, strengthen boundaries, and rebuild confidence and emotional balance. Clients often describe my style as supportive, steady, and empowering, with a balance of compassion and gentle accountability that helps them move forward in a sustainable way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with adult women seeking support for life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients are navigating experiences such as empty nest transitions, infidelity or betrayal, divorce or relationship distress, identity shifts, and the emotional and physical changes associated with perimenopause. I also support women who feel anxious, stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about their direction in life and want to rebuild confidence, clarity, and emotional balance. My clients often come to therapy with goals such as improving relationships, processing grief or betrayal, strengthening self-esteem, setting healthier boundaries, and reconnecting with their identity and purpose. I also work with individuals who want to better manage stress, anxiety, and emotional regulation during major life changes. I use a warm, collaborative, and supportive approach grounded in strengths-based therapy, emotionally focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and self-compassion practices. Together, we focus on helping clients feel more grounded, empowered, and capable of creating meaningful and lasting change.

My treatment methods

Compassion Focused

I use Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) to help clients develop a healthier, more supportive relationship with themselves—especially when they struggle with self-criticism, shame, anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, or feeling “not good enough.” Many people have learned to motivate themselves through pressure, guilt, or harsh self-talk. In our work together, I help clients build a different internal experience—one rooted in self-compassion, emotional safety, and resilience. In sessions, I may help clients: Identify patterns of self-criticism, shame, or “inner critic” thinking Understand how the brain’s threat, drive, and soothing systems affect emotions and behavior Practice self-compassion skills that reduce anxiety and emotional overwhelm Use grounding, breathing, imagery, and mindfulness to calm the nervous system Learn how to respond to mistakes, setbacks, or painful emotions with understanding instead of judgment Build emotional regulation skills while strengthening confidence, self-worth, and connection with others My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I integrate compassion-focused work with evidence-based strategies to help clients feel safer in their own minds, improve relationships, and create lasting emotional change.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients better understand their emotions, strengthen relationships, and create more secure, connected patterns with the people who matter most. Often, when people feel overwhelmed, hurt, rejected, or misunderstood, they may withdraw, shut down, become reactive, or struggle to communicate their needs. EFT helps uncover the deeper emotions and attachment needs that drive these patterns. In our work together, I help clients: Identify emotional triggers and the patterns that keep them feeling stuck Understand how past experiences and attachment relationships influence current emotions, behaviors, and relationships Recognize underlying feelings such as fear, sadness, loneliness, shame, or unmet needs beneath anger, conflict, or withdrawal Develop healthier ways to express emotions, needs, and boundaries Strengthen emotional regulation and create a greater sense of safety, connection, and trust Improve communication and build more secure, fulfilling relationships with partners, family members, children, or themselves My approach is warm, collaborative, and emotionally attuned. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore vulnerable emotions, heal relational wounds, and develop deeper connection, confidence, and emotional resilience.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore change in a way that feels empowering, collaborative, and free of judgment. Many people know they want something to be different—whether it’s managing stress, improving relationships, setting boundaries, parenting more effectively, changing unhealthy habits, or addressing anxiety, depression, or behavioral challenges—but may feel stuck, uncertain, or ambivalent about where to begin. In our work together, I help clients: Explore mixed feelings about change without pressure or shame Identify personal values, strengths, and what truly matters to them Increase confidence in their ability to make meaningful changes Recognize patterns that may be keeping them stuck Strengthen motivation by connecting goals to their deeper purpose Break larger goals into realistic, achievable steps Build commitment to changes that feel authentic and sustainable Rather than telling clients what they “should” do, I work alongside them to uncover their own reasons for change and help them build the confidence, clarity, and momentum needed to move forward. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe lasting change happens when people feel heard, understood, and empowered to make choices that align with their values.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize and build on their existing skills, resilience, and personal resources rather than focusing only on problems or deficits. Many individuals and families come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or defined by their challenges. My goal is to shift that perspective toward what is already working, what has helped them survive difficult experiences, and what strengths they may not yet fully recognize in themselves. In sessions, I help clients: Identify personal strengths, values, and past successes Reframe challenges in a way that highlights resilience and growth Build confidence by recognizing what they are already doing well Develop practical strategies that align with their natural abilities and coping styles Strengthen problem-solving skills and emotional resilience Set goals that feel realistic, meaningful, and achievable Apply strengths within relationships, parenting, school, work, and daily life My approach is collaborative and empowering. I believe that clients are the experts in their own lives, and therapy works best when we build on what is already strong, not just what feels difficult.
