LCSW, 20 years of experience
New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience as a mental health professional. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, grief, and depression. I have a very practical solution-focused approach to the therapeutic process. My method of treatment is "talk-therapy" which involves having conversations about the current matters in the individual’s life and then it branches towards past trauma that may be still negatively impacting the individual’s life. Treatment is free of judgment and strictly confidential. I take a non-traditional approach to treatment with natural remedies.
During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, judgment free space where we'll begin building a foundation of trust. I'll take time to learn about what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, and your hopes for change. We'll explore your personal history, identify key concerns, and discuss what a supportive path forward might look like for you. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and empowered from the very beginning. This session is about you-your story, at your pace, and your comfort.
Through a trauma-informed and client-centered lens, I support individuals navigating adversity-including anxiety, depression, and complex emotional stressors by integrating evidence based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. My approach emphasizes empathy, empowerment, and practical skill-building, fostering resilience and measurable progress in emotional regulation, self awareness, and overall well-being. Rooted in humble beginnings, I've walked through deep pain and adversity-and emerged with healing, insight, and a profound commitment to helping others discover their own strength, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose.
I specialize in supporting individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed, spiritually disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Whether you're navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression or life transitions, I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your experiences and reconnect with your strengths. My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, clinical insight, and practical tools that foster emotional clarity, resilience, and meaningful change. I work best with clients who are ready to engage in honest/transparent reflection, build coping strategies, and move toward healing with intention, hope, and accountable.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address various mental health issues by changing unhealthy thoughts, patterns, and behaviors into healthier choices. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to lower stress, anxiety, and depression in daily living.
