New to Grow
I'm a licensed therapist who specializes in working with teens and adults struggling with anxiety, low self esteem, ADHD, family and romantic relationship struggles, life transitions, and chronic health conditions. My approach is eclectic as I utilize a wide range of approaches, tailoring which approach I use to your individual needs while largely focusing on how your thoughts, self-care, and past experiences impact you so I can help you find a path towards a life that feels calm and truly yours.
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and set up a foundation for our future sessions. We'll discuss what brings you into therapy and what you hope to get out of our sessions. I encourage you to ask me questions to help you feel more comfortable. There is no pressure to share anything you're not ready to discuss, my goal is to meet you where you're at and collaborate on how we can help you reach your therapy goals.
I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and welcome your feedback so I can help you to the best of my ability. I take a laid-back approach to sessions, trying to create a warm and comfortable environment where you can feel comfortable discussing anything and maybe even look forward to your next session. I emphasize the importance of overall well-being and like to incorporate somatic techniques when appropriate. I like to think that the real work from therapy comes from outside of the sessions, where the skills we discuss in sessions can be applied in your day to day life.
I work with teens and adults who are committed and motivated to regain control over their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling weighed down by their symptoms and unsure of how to move forward. If you're struggling with anxiety, insecurities, unhealthy relationship dynamics, health issues, or just need a place to vent, we can work together to help you create meaningful and lasting change.
