New to Grow
As your therapist, I'm here to offer compassionate support and thoughtful guidance—helping you navigate life’s challenges and move toward the goals that matter most to you. Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or self-discovery, I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way. Every journey is unique, and I am committed to helping you uncover your best self. Let's work together to create a path toward lasting change and fulfillment. I look forward to partnering with you on this transformative journey. I’m passionate about helping individuals connect with themselves and the world around them. I work with clients to address past and present challenges, guiding them toward a healthier, more fulfilling future. Together, we can create positive change and help you unlock your full potential. If you're looking for compassionate support on your self-discovery journey and want to live fully in the present while building a strong foundation for the future, I’d be honored to walk that path with you.
The first session is an opportunity for us to begin understanding your story and what has brought you to therapy. Rather than working through a rigid checklist or lengthy series of questions, I approach the first session as a conversation. I want to understand why you have decided to seek therapy and, just as importantly, why now. Together, we will explore the concerns, challenges, or goals that led you to reach out and discuss what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. As we talk, I will gather important background information while also getting a sense of who you are beyond the challenges you may be facing. My goal is to create a comfortable and authentic environment where you feel heard, understood, and able to openly share your experiences. By the end of our first session, we will have started building a therapeutic relationship and developing a clearer understanding of how therapy can help you move toward the changes you want to make in your life.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to balance compassion with honesty. I believe meaningful growth happens when clients feel both supported and challenged. My approach is warm, authentic, and collaborative, but I am not a therapist who simply tells people what they want to hear. When I notice patterns, blind spots, or behaviors that may be keeping someone stuck, I address them directly—with kindness, respect, and genuine care. Clients often appreciate that I show up as a real person in the therapy room. I strive to create a space where honesty, curiosity, and accountability can coexist with empathy and understanding. My goal is to help clients gain insight, build resilience, and make lasting changes, even when those conversations are uncomfortable. I believe that therapy is most effective when it combines a strong therapeutic relationship with thoughtful challenge and practical growth.
I am best positioned to serve adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected and are seeking meaningful change in their lives. My clients often struggle with anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, or the impact of past experiences. They may appear to be functioning well on the outside while privately experiencing emotional distress, burnout, or uncertainty. I work well with individuals who are motivated to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, and create more fulfilling relationships. Whether clients are looking to reduce symptoms, process difficult experiences, increase self-confidence, or gain greater clarity and purpose, I provide a supportive, collaborative space where they can explore their concerns and work toward their goals at their own pace. My approach is particularly helpful for clients who value self-reflection, personal growth, and practical tools that can be applied in everyday life.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, beliefs, and habits that may be contributing to distress or keeping them stuck. Rather than simply focusing on symptoms, CBT provides practical tools and strategies that clients can use in their everyday lives to create meaningful and lasting change. In sessions, I work collaboratively with clients to increase awareness of automatic thoughts, challenge distorted thinking, develop healthier perspectives, and practice new coping skills. I tailor CBT interventions to each individual's unique experiences and goals, helping them build greater emotional resilience, improve problem-solving abilities, and feel more confident navigating life's challenges. My approach combines support and accountability, encouraging clients to apply what they learn in therapy to real-world situations.
Christian Counseling
For clients who desire it, I offer the integration of Christian faith into the counseling process. I believe that spirituality can be an important source of strength, meaning, and healing, and I am happy to incorporate a client's faith into our work when it aligns with their goals and preferences.
Strength-Based
I utilize a strengths-based approach by helping clients recognize and build upon the abilities, qualities, and resources they already possess. While it is important to address challenges and areas of distress, I believe lasting change is often rooted in identifying what is already working and leveraging those strengths to overcome obstacles. In therapy, I help clients explore their resilience, past successes, values, relationships, and personal skills to develop greater confidence and self-awareness. Together, we identify strengths that may have been overlooked or overshadowed by current difficulties and use them as a foundation for growth and healing. This approach empowers clients to see themselves as capable and resourceful while developing practical strategies to achieve their goals and navigate life's challenges.
