I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 10 years of experience in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

By addressing the physical, emotional, and social aspects of mental health in a safe, empathetic environment, I strive to help my clients achieve mental well being.

First session

In our first session I will take an extensive history including the main reason for seeking help, past mental and medical history, social and family history, trauma history, and substance abuse issues. Then, we will begin to formulate a treatment plan to address the issues and work toward improving your mental well being.

Strengths

Over the past ten years I have worked to create relationships with my clients where they feel heard and understood. This allows for a therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered and motivated to work towards mental well being. While I do provide supportive therapy, my area of expertise is medication management. I generally refer patients needing CBT, DBT, and trauma and grief therapy to qualified therapists and counselors also available through Grow.

Ideal clients

I enjoy helping male and female clients age 18-65 who struggle with achieving mental well being as a result of dealing with mental health issues such as mood and anxiety disorders as well as psychosis.

Treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I use MI in my practice to create a safe, nonthreatening environment which allows for the development of a strong therapeutic relationship. This, in turn, empowers and encourages the client to work toward long term positive changes in their mental health.

Supportive

Supportive therapy in an important part of the treatment process by allowing clients to feel validated. this allows for ongoing progress in strengthening coping skills and improving overall function.

Just met with Audie and she was so calming and straight to the point about medication options. Would definitely recommend her!

Comfortable w/ Audie immediately. She listened w/out judgement & took a lot of notes - important to me as I do the same. Audie is down to earth, very easy to talk to, empathetic, but direct, & intelligent. Thoroughly explained what meds work best for & any possible side effects. Made med recs she thought best for my needs but allowed me to have input as well. I felt heard & seen for the first time in a very long time. I am looking forward to our call next week. Thank you, Audie

Audience is incredible and easy to talk to. Willing to help figure out medication without being presumptuous.
