LMHC, 5 years of experience
I support adults and young adults who carry the effects of past trauma, chronic stress, or emotionally overwhelming experiences. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, constant tension, difficulty regulating emotions, or feeling stuck in patterns that don’t reflect who they want to be. I use trauma-informed therapy and nervous system regulation techniques to help you feel safer in your body, calmer in your mind, and more in control of your reactions. I am also trained in EMDR for clients seeking targeted trauma processing. Together, we work toward easing anxiety, releasing old patterns, and creating a steadier way of moving through your life.
In your first session, we’ll slow down, understand what you’ve been carrying, and tune into how your body and nervous system have been responding. You’ll leave with clarity, grounding, and a plan that feels manageable.
My greatest strengths include creating a calm, structured space where clients feel understood, guiding them toward clarity, and helping them build practical skills that support long-term growth.
My practice helps young adults and adults handle their anxiety and life stressors by pairing self-regulation tools with identifying the root of unhelpful patterns that you feel stuck in.
Utilizing DBT interventions helps with emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness and problem-solving skills. DBT interventions can help if you are struggling with addiction, depression and anxiety.
I am trained in EMDR and use it to help clients safely process past experiences that continue to trigger anxiety, distress, or emotional reactivity. My approach focuses on building stability first and then guiding clients through reprocessing at a pace that feels comfortable and grounded.
CBT helps to understand the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Exploring core beliefs can help gain a greater understanding of how your beliefs are leading to maladaptive behaviors. CBT interventions can help shift these unwanted behaviors through learning more effective thought processes and coping skills.
Low mood, negative thoughts and stress can be managed using this treatment method in therapy. Mindfulness-Based therapy is used to promote good health, as well as treat depression and anxiety symptoms through a combination of cognitive methods and mindfulness meditations.
