Hi, I’m Alex a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner & Family Nurse Practitioner. I’m here to support you with compassionate, down-to-earth mental health care that fits your life. I specialize in medication management and work closely with you to find what works best for your unique situation. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, binge eating disorder, or just feeling overwhelmed, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that meets you where you are. I offer both medication management and therapy to support lasting change. I believe healing is a team effort, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way. *I occasionally have earlier or same-day openings. After booking your appointment, feel free to send me a message to see if your visit can be moved up, depending on availability.* I’m happy to assist with school accommodations (IEP/504), emotional support animal (ESA) letters, brief work excuses, and general treatment letters when clinically indicated. *I do not complete disability, FMLA, or extended work-leave paperwork of any kind.* *Please note that all intake paperwork must be completed before your appointment. Incomplete forms will result in cancellation and a no-show fee.* *Two no-shows or late cancellations within a 12-month period may result in discharge from the practice.* Thank you for respecting appointment times so that care remains available for all.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, clients can expect a comfortable, judgment-free conversation where I take the time to get to know them and their mental health concerns. We'll discuss current symptoms, medical and mental health history, past treatments, and any goals for care. I’ll ask questions to better understand how their condition affects their daily life and what they hope to achieve with treatment. I also explain how I approach medication management, including potential options, benefits, and side effects, and answer any questions they may have. If medication is appropriate, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan, and I’ll outline the next steps, including follow-up visits to monitor progress. My goal is to ensure clients feel heard, informed, and comfortable with their care . Please note that prescriptions will be sent only after payment is confirmed and processed, typically within 1–2 business days for (self-pay clients. )

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a provider, my greatest strengths are compassion, active listening, and a practical approach to care. I take the time to truly understand my clients' concerns, ensuring they feel heard and supported. I prioritize education and collaboration, helping clients make informed decisions about their treatment rather than just prescribing medication. I also focus on creating personalized, realistic treatment plans that fit each person's lifestyle and needs. My ability to break down complex mental health concepts into simple, actionable steps helps clients feel more in control of their well-being. Most importantly, I provide nonjudgmental, patient-centered care, meeting clients where they are and supporting them every step of the way. My patients can send me a message with questions anytime.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adolescents and adults who need medication management for mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and binge eating disorder. My ideal clients are those looking for practical, straightforward care and want a provider who listens, educates, and helps them make informed decisions about their treatment. Whether you’re new to mental health care or need ongoing support, I focus on a collaborative, judgment-free approach tailored to your unique needs.
