I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience. I pride myself in continued educational enhancement. With my education, experience, and continued growth, I can help my client to see the counseling session as a rewarding experience and an oasis of serenity. I have serviced a wide population and demographic to include clients from age 6 to 97 years old; all with various ethnicities, income status, occupation, and of course "need"
Hello, I'm Shakera. No one knows you better than yourself, so be proud of this first step of taking care of yourself. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 7 years of experience working as a therapist My focus is on implementing a client-centered approach, where I believe the most important aspect is to provide a non-judgmental and safe space for all of my clients. It's crucial not to pressure my clients to convey what is uncomfortable but to help them process their feelings and empower them to do what is best for them in their daily lives.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with adults who have experienced trauma, grief, depression, relationship issues, family conflicts, self-image issues, anxiety, peer pressure, and so much more. My approach is versatile, incorporating a variety of techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused theory, mindfulness techniques, grounding techniques, and more. I believe in the importance of clients having a voice so they can be heard and understood.
Hi, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) with over two decades of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges.
I am passionate about helping individuals who are struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, and the everyday stressors that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. I also have a passion for working with women who are experiencing difficult life transitions and periods of grief and loss. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported without judgment.
My approach to therapy is client-centered, meaning I meet each person where they are and tailor the therapeutic process to their unique needs and goals. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and together we work toward creating greater balance, self-awareness, and emotional well-being in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable for you.
Let’s be real—life gets messy, and sometimes Googling your problems just isn’t cutting it anymore. I work with individuals 15 and up, navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, or that constant “what am I doing with my life?” loop. I earned my BSW in 2013 from Prairie View A&M University and my MSW in 2016 from Our Lady of the Lake University. I hold an LCSW in TX, MN, ND and TN, and have over 8 years of experience supporting individuals and families from all walks of life. I’m passionate about working with people of color, and I aim to create a supportive, affirming space where you feel seen and respected. If you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels, your path Back to Life starts here!
Hi, I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and supported. My personal and professional experiences have helped me connect with people from all walks of life with empathy and without judgment.
I’ve worked in hospice, private practice, as a nursing home social worker, and at three inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities. In private practice, I worked with clients facing a wide range of concerns and life challenges, giving me experience supporting people through many different situations.
I welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities and strive to provide a safe, compassionate space where we can work together toward healing, growth, and the life you want to build.
Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming. My approach is open and non-judgmental, giving you space to process and learn about yourself. Self awareness is the foundation of our work together. Emotional regulation will always be the first building block in gaining awareness towards self . I commend you for taking this step toward a better quality of life. Together, we'll process dynamics, experiences, and relationships and their effect on you today. You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where your thoughts and emotions are honored with compassion. I'm warm, clear, and honest—balancing empathy with gentle challenge. I listen closely, reflect patterns, and offer practical tools to help you reconnect with your wisdom.
Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and my goal is to make the process feel approachable from the very first session. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 14 years of experience helping adolescents and adults navigate ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation built on trust, curiosity, and collaboration. Rather than simply listening or giving advice, I work alongside clients to better understand what's keeping them stuck while developing practical strategies that fit their lives. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies with compassion, humor when appropriate, and a focus on long-term growth.
Hi, I’m Donna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I work with adults who look like they’re “fine” on the outside, but inside they’re overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, or emotionally shut down from trying to hold it all together for too long.
Many of my clients come to therapy because they feel stuck in patterns they can’t explain—people-pleasing, overthinking, guilt, emotional blowups, shutdowns, or staying in relationships that don’t feel safe or steady. Sometimes the root is trauma. Sometimes it’s years of stress, loss, or family dynamics that taught you to survive instead of breathe.
In our work together, we’ll slow things down, get clear on what’s actually happening (and why), and build practical tools you can use in real life—not just in session. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I’ll help you understand your nervous system, strengthen boundaries, untangle painful relationship patterns, and reconnect with the parts of you that have been carrying too much for too long.
If you’re ready to feel calmer, clearer, and more like yourself again, I’d be honored to support you. You can schedule your first session whenever you’re ready.
Hello! I am Wendy Theriot,MA,LPC. I spent years specializing in trauma-focused therapy and have worked in the private practice setting as well as treatment facility setting. This year I have taken a break from in-person therapy where I specialized in EMDR to more of a person-centered approach addressing men’s issues, as well as working mainly with with First Responders, Veterans, Active Duty personnel as well as couples.
I guide the client in the direction of healing or self actualization incorporating Cognitive Processing , Jungian therapy and Attachment-Based therapy. “Jungian”refers to the psychological doctrines and analytical therapy developed by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung. It helps to uncover hidden forces driving human behavior by integrating the conscious and unconscious mind, ultimately striving toward authenticity and personal wholeness. Attachment Based therapy is a form of counseling that explores how your early childhood relationships with primary caregivers shape your adult attachment style.
In addition to individual therapy I have worked with couples using the Gottman Method. It is a structured, research-based approach to couples therapy developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. It aims to disarm conflicting verbal communication, increase intimacy and respect, and remove barriers.
If you are seeing me through an EAP or have a limited amount of therapy sessions I also do Solution Focused Brief Therapy where we don’t look at the past as much as we look towards the future and what you want to envision. With my help you can get there.
Hello,
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that).
At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy.
As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran.
Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I specialize in working with individuals of all ages. I have found that online therapy for adults is effective, convenient and the post pandemic way to obtain therapy. I am solution focused, and I practice the client centered approach theory.
My background is in secondary education and school counseling, for 27 years. I have had my counseling license for 13 years. I am currently a part-time, private counselor, using online with adult clients and in person, for youth, through non-profit, school programs.
I earned an A.A. in Historical Studies from San Jacinto College, Central Campus, La Porte, Texas, June of 1991. I earned my B.A. in Secondary Social Studies from the University of Houston, Clearlake Campus, in Houston, Texas in June of 1994. And I earned my M.Ed. from University of Texas State in San Marcos, in December of 2010. I later added my license in Professional Counseling, in April of 2011. I am interested in the ways trauma impacts the individual and plan to be trained in EMDR, within the year.
I am empathetic to the challenge that real life experiences bring and the need to heal and evolve from the times in our lives when we have lived predominately in our shadow side. I am a non-judgmental listener; I help my clients process their hurt and I inspire them to move towards best version of themselves.
I find the key components to a therapeutic relationship between the counselor and the client is the foundation of trust, honesty, transparency and non-judgmental listening and reflection.
I believe that everyone has a purpose, life lessons that they work through and opportunities to heal, transform and evolve emotionally, spiritually and mentally.
With over 15 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, feelings, and goals. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey built on trust, respect, and authenticity. My style is rooted in partnership—meeting clients where they are, using evidence-based techniques tailored to their unique needs, and offering both support and gentle challenges to help them grow. My ultimate goal is to guide clients toward greater self-awareness, balance, and overall well-being.
Do you feel like you have a million moving pieces in your life and you are just trying to figure out how to manage it all and continue to function? Are you finding that the demands of life have been taking a toll on your relationships and more importantly, yourself?
Sometimes it can feel like life has just become too much, and having some additional support can help you see through all that is weighing you down. I take an individualized approach to counseling, meeting each person where they are with their needs and their strengths to help navigate through those feelings of being overwhelmed to build confidence in yourself and recognize the strength within. I provide a safe space for conversation and exploration, with gentle guidance in helping you determine what has been making you feel stuck, while together we uncover a path where that burden is reduced and you feel like you can breathe again.
I have extensive experience working individually with clients in managing anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns, as well as with parents and caregivers who are trying to navigate circumstances with children coping with medical, behavioral, and emotional needs. Sometimes life can feel like too much, and you do not have to navigate it alone.
I am flexible with scheduling with my clients, so please reach out and schedule to see if we can find something that works for you.
I help high-functioning adults and professionals who feel emotionally exhausted, stuck in survival mode, or disconnected from themselves despite appearing “fine” on the outside. My approach is direct, grounded, and compassionate, helping clients better understand their nervous system, process unresolved experiences, and build emotional resilience without judgment. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, stress, self-worth, and helping clients reconnect with a more confident and balanced version of themselves.
With each step of my career as a therapist I have discovered fragments of myself, pieces I had disowned but needed to reclaim to truly empathize with my clients. Through that perseverance, I have emerged not unscathed, but enriched, understanding that confronting my own challenges enabled me to extend a hand, not just as a therapist, but as a fellow traveler in the labyrinth of healing.
I am a collaborative therapist specializing in holistic counseling, where I emphasize the interconnectedness of emotional and physical well-being in therapy. I understand that each person's journey is unique, so I tailor my approach to suit individual needs. With honesty, openness, and a focus on solutions, I work alongside clients to navigate their challenges and foster holistic healing and growth.
Hi, I’m a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), and I’ve been working with clients for over 10 years who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted and not sure where to start. I earned my Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I’m also certified as a Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship struggles, career challenges, and major life transitions, especially when life feels like “too much” on the inside, even if you’re still managing on the outside. My goal is to provide a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and talk honestly without judgment or pressure. Together, we work to understand what’s keeping you stuck and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded, clear, and in control again.
I offer therapy in both English and Spanish because feeling understood in your own language matters. Ofrezco terapia en inglés y español porque sentirse comprendido(a) en tu propio idioma es importante.
If you're living with a serious illness, caring for someone who is, or navigating a loss that has changed everything — you already know that the hardest part isn't always the medical reality. It's the fear that doesn't leave. The exhaustion of staying strong. The feeling that you should be "over it" by now, but aren't.
I've been there. After recovering from my own serious illness, I found my way back to myself — and that experience is at the heart of everything I bring to this work.
For years I've specialized in supporting people navigating cancer, serious illness, and profound loss — and for the past several years I've been doing that work through Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a gentle, evidence-based approach that helps your brain reprocess painful memories and images without requiring you to relive them out loud. Many clients experience significant relief in just one to three sessions.
You don't have to keep managing fear. There's a way through it.
My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling lighter — not just heard, but actually shifted.

Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Maryland. I received my Masters from Lancaster Bible College/Capital Seminary and Graduate School and have been practicing for 7 years. I help adult couples and individuals dealing with trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, and marital/relationship issues to heal and thrive. I take a diverse and adaptable approach to counseling, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients. My name is Jennifer and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 19 states with 20 plus years in the healing profession. I provide therapy to individuals, couples and groups. I have extensive experience tailoring my therapeutic approach to meet client's where they are at. I honor and respect your vulnerability in the counseling process. Emotional work you do in your life will be very rewarding. Compassion and psychological insight is the hallmark of my practice. The modalities I utilize in my practice are psychodynamic, client-centered, humanistic, DBT and DBT respectively. I interweave approaches to learn what feels like the best fit for your unique needs. I hope to be a part of your journey.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I received my Masters from LeTourneau University and have been practicing for 4 years. I work with adult clients living with self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, and anger. The goal is to provide a safe space for clients to openly talk, gain self-awareness, and identify ways to overcome their challenges.
First and foremost, I am a Christian. While my faith in God is very strong, I work within the parameters established by my clients. If they do not believe, and do not request faith-based services, this will never come up in our work together, but I hope to treat you with all the compassion that Jesus would. That was the greatest compliment I ever had from a Lesbian client, that for the first time in her life, she felt treated as Jesus would have treated her.
I am a trauma survivor myself. I know the difficult road back from childhood and adult traumatic events first-hand, not just from the textbooks. I dedicated my life and 35-year career running a nonprofit and subsequent years in private practice serving survivors of trauma--child abuse victims, veterans, domestic violence, sexual trauma, surviving family members of homicide victims, and terroristic attacks. It is unconscionable what human beings will do to one another, and it can perpetuate for generations if you neglect your own recovery.
I am also a mediator and have had the honor of reconciling many marriages--some who even came to me for divorce and custody originally, who wanted to save their marriage but not knowing what else to try. I've seen healing in many generational disputes, and in interventions with families trying to get an addicted or severely mentally ill member to treatment. I do Workplace Mediation and Eldercare and Guardianship Mediation as well. Have differences in parenting? Parenting and Discipline Planning are accomplished expeditiously in mediation. Want the perfect wedding gift? Give them Pre-marital or Re-marital Mediation so they can discuss and agree on life choices together before they get married and start arguing endlessly about them.
As a Latina mental health therapist, I understand the unique challenges that come with navigating cultural expectations, identity, and daily stressors. I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with anxiety, cultural identity challenges, and life transitions. My approach is warm, supportive, and rooted in evidence-based therapies. I also provide therapy services in Spanish and interventions that are understanding of multicultural identities.
I provide a space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. Together, we’ll work on shifting unhelpful thinking patterns, developing coping skills, and fostering self-compassion. My goal is to help you gain clarity, confidence, and emotional balance so you can lead a more fulfilling life.
My name is David Mancuso, and at the heart of my work is a belief that every person carries an untold story—one shaped by survival, family dynamics, unspoken pain, and the longing to feel whole. I help clients reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve had to silence in order to function. My approach blends depth-oriented psychotherapy with a direct, grounded style that invites honesty, clarity, and personal evolution.
I draw from years of clinical practice, trauma-informed training, attachment theory, and my own lived experiences navigating complex family systems. Because of that background, I understand what it means to rebuild a self from the inside out. Clients often come to me during moments of transition, emotional exhaustion, identity confusion, or relational upheaval. They stay because our work helps them find their center again.
While I bring a calm and steady presence, I also show up with real engagement. I don’t sit back passively—I’m interactive, reflective, and attuned to the subtle patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate. Therapy with me is an active process of reconnecting with your original self, strengthening your internal structure, and learning to move through the world with more confidence, emotional clarity, and integrity.
Above all, I care deeply about the people I work with. My intention is to offer a space where you feel understood, supported, and challenged in meaningful ways—so you can step into a more grounded, connected, and empowered version of yourself.
I’m a warm, direct, humorous, and creative therapist who helps adults understand their emotional patterns and build tools that support meaningful change. My background includes work in schools, hospitals, crisis services, and community‑based care, which shapes the grounded and practical way I show up in session. I focus on helping clients make sense of what’s happening in their mind and body so they can move through life with more clarity, confidence, and alignment.
Hey, I’m Jeannuel
I’m really glad you’re here.
I’m a therapist, but more importantly, I’m someone who deeply values human connection, honesty, and showing up authentically. I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and real — not intimidating or overly clinical.
I’m warm, down-to-earth, and optimistic by nature. I value laughter when it fits, honesty even when things feel messy, and creating a space where you don’t have to pretend to have it all together. I believe healing happens when people feel truly seen and supported — not judged or rushed. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s story.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m someone who appreciates balance, reflection, and growth. I care deeply about helping people reconnect with themselves and trust their inner voice again , or even discover it for the first time.
If you’re looking for a therapist who shows up as a real person and creates space for you to be one too, you’re in the right place.
Hi, I'm Dr. Joycelyn Anderson — but most people just call me Dr. J.
I've spent over 16 years walking alongside people through the moments that reshape who they are: a big move, a new role, a strained relationship, a season of just feeling stuck. I started my career in K-12 schools and eventually opened Evolution of Life Wellness and Counseling, PLLC, because I wanted to work with people across every stage of that journey—not just one chapter of it.
A few years ago, I relocated, and it taught me something I now bring into every session: change doesn't just rearrange your circumstances; it can quietly unsettle your sense of self. I know what it's like to feel like you're starting over, and I know that healing rarely happens in a straight line.
I bring a whole-person approach to our work together—your mind, your body, your relationships, your faith, if that matters to you, and your story all belong in the room. I'll never ask you to leave parts of yourself at the door. My style is warm but direct; I'll walk with you gently, and I'll also tell you the truth when it matters.
Outside of sessions, I'm someone who still believes in slow mornings and good conversation. I host a podcast called The Evolving Mosaic, where I talk about identity, belonging, and the beautiful, messy process of becoming.
If you're considering therapy, I know that first step can feel like a lot. I hope that by the time we meet, it already feels a little less like starting with a stranger and more like continuing a conversation.
Shamice is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Shamice’s number one priority is to create a safe place where clients feel comfortable sharing their life experiences and working towards the healing process. Shamice’s passion to begin her profession in therapy arose when she was working with families who recently had their children removed from their homes. At that time, she realized the adverse impact that it had on the children and families’ mental health and decided to make the decision to get on the other side of the problem.
Shamice is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, exposure response and prevention therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). She is also trained in habit reversal therapy for body-focused repetitive behaviors. Shamice works with a diverse population, ranging from pre-teens to adults. She specializes in OCD, Anxiety and Mood Disorders and diminished sense of well-being or life purpose. She works with children, teens, and adults.
If you've spent years holding everything together for everyone else while quietly feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself, you're not alone. I work with high-functioning adults who appear successful on the outside but often feel stuck beneath the surface. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationship challenges, unresolved life experiences, or feeling like they're constantly in survival mode.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, understood, and emotionally safe. Together, we'll work to understand the experiences and patterns shaping your present, strengthen your nervous system's ability to feel safe, and create meaningful, lasting change. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you no longer have to carry everything on your own.

Welcome, I'm so glad you've found your way here! I specialize in supporting teens and young adults as they navigate life's challenges, such as anxiety, life transitions, and relationship dynamics. Together, we'll create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore and understand the aspects of yourself that may be causing internal friction. As your therapist, my goal is to guide you toward greater understanding, compassion, and self-acceptance. I believe in working together to identify and address the unique challenges that may be holding you back or keeping you stuck in unhelpful patterns.
Hi, I’m Arielle, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should be a space where you can show up fully as yourself , no filters, no pretending, and no judgment. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, authentic, and down-to-earth while still providing practical tools and support for meaningful change. I’m passionate about helping clients feel seen, heard, and empowered as they work toward healing, balance, and becoming the most authentic version of themselves.
I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, or life transitions. You may find yourself overthinking, struggling to sleep, feeling disconnected from others, or carrying emotional pain that feels hard to explain or manage alone. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can make sense of what you’re going through and begin to create meaningful change. Using evidence-based approaches, I help clients build healthier coping skills, process difficult experiences, and regain a sense of control, clarity, and confidence—so you can start feeling more like yourself again and move forward with greater ease.
I help teens and women heal from complex childhood trauma, neglect, and abuse—especially when those experiences show up as people-pleasing, identity loss, painful relationships, intense emotions, or a complicated relationship with food and their bodies.
I became a therapist because this work genuinely matters to me. Over the past nine years, I have seen how trauma can remain hidden beneath perfectionism, overachievement, unhealthy relationships, disordered eating, and the feeling that you have no idea who you are because you spent so long surviving. I also understand that trauma symptoms are frequently misunderstood, treated only at the surface, or confused with features associated with diagnoses such as Borderline Personality Disorder or Bipolar Disorder. I take time to understand the whole person—not just the label.
I am warm, down-to-earth, and honest. I balance validation with respectfully challenging the beliefs and behaviors that keep you stuck.
I have ADHD, two tiny chihuahua coworkers named Bryn and Blair, and licenses to provide therapy in Florida, Illinois, Texas, and Colorado. I am proudly a girls’ girl, and my practice is mainly focused on the mental health and relational experiences of teens and women.
You will find me easy to talk to, compassionate, and warm.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who provides individual therapy using an eclectic framework. I know that therapy can be intimidating, especially when first seeking services. This process places you front and center in your own journey to healing and I am privileged to be able to walk alongside you as you take that step. I use various tools to assist you in reaching goals and help identify what works for you.
Hello there! Take a deep breath. It's not easy finding the right therapist. I have been on the other side of the therapy desk and know how hard it is to open up to a stranger. It's okay if you are anxious about it, I understand this. I have provided therapy for almost 20 years and have been in the mental health field for over 25 years in a multitude of settings - schools, prisons, outpatient and inpatient facilities. I've been in private practice for about 8 years. If you need just a few sessions to gain just a few tools to help over a rough patch, we can collaborate on that. Or, if you are ready for a major change in your life to address some serious problems, we can work on that, as well. My approach is collaborative, meaning, you and I are a team to work towards a solution for your current challenges.
